-Character History-
July 5, 2030. What became a glorious day of Minister Eduardo ended up being the darkest day of his life. In the small city of Tuscany The Minister of Magic of Italy was waiting impatiently for his wife Antoinette to give birth for his firstborn son. Soon to be his pride and joy his successor. He had even thought of a name for him. Matthew Ricordo Armani. Future Minister of Magic and head of the Armani bloodline. All of Eduardo’s dreams were to be fulfilled when the Doctor came into the waiting room with upsetting news. After hearing that his wife might die and his child as well Eduardo rushed into the delivery room watching as the healers tried to bring his wife to a stable level of life. While to the side of his beautiful wife was his son. Pale. Quiet. Life support was slowly leaving the small infants body. Eduardo yelled at the staff members telling them to keep trying to keep his wife and child alive. Going over to his son he drew his wand carving the symbol of the sun god on his chest and the symbol of the moon goddess inside the mark of his son. A protection seal. The Armani family was very big in believing in gods and goddess’ they were mostly dedicated to the moon and sun twins. Several hours had passed when the news was given to the Minster. His wife was dead. She had put up a good fight the doctors said but her body just couldn’t handle it all. But on the happier side his son had survived. Slowly getting healthier by the minute. Several days the city of Tuscany and several small cities gathered together as one to remember the wife of Minister Eduardo.
Growing up wasn’t exactly the easiest thing for Matthew. Living with maids and servants and only seeing his dad for a hour before bedtime wasn’t exactly what people called a ‘natural’ home life. Matthew had shown promising talent when he was around the age of five. Conjuring up simple spells with his dad’s wand whenever he could. This always made his father happy even though the death of his wife was still hurting. When ever Matthew would ask about his mother, Matthew’s father would always tell him she was a bright woman, pretty, a great duelist. Eduardo would always tell Matthew how lucky he was to have a wife like her and to somebody see his son grow up to have the same traits as her.
When Matthew had turned seven years old things happened. The Minister itself was falling apart, his father was doing some snooping around and found out more about the Armani family heritage, and Matthew turned out nothing like his father had thought he would. With the amount of time that Matthew had spent with his father and with servants of the house, he felt like the servants had more parental authority then his own father. Because he saw very little of his father he started turning his back towards him. Turning Matthew into a troubled child.
For years Matthew had turned his back to his father. Turning him closer into the Dark Arts. While his father was away it was the perfect time to sneak into his fathers study and library and read the books on Dark Magic. Matthew had no idea his father had a vast amount of books about Dark Magic let alone the history and philosophy. From the time Matthew woke up to the time his father would come home he was study about Dark Magic. While reading the books he felt the more need to look into it farther. Although Matthew was greatly underage he also didn’t have a wand to begin with. The spells, jinx’s and curses were well memorized into his mind.
When receiving his letting from Hogwarts Matthew’s father couldn’t be anymore happier. He knew it was probably another fake emotion from his father. His father never saw his son so why not ship him off to an all magical boarding school? Seems like a perfect plan especially for a Minister of Magic. So on the day of leaving for Hogwarts Matthew had left with a male and female servant to Diagon Alley so that Anthony would look like some sort of child with two ‘caring’ parents. While at Diagon Alley, Matthew got nothing but fashion designed clothing, first edition books, and a wand obviously. But the wand itself was interesting. Matthew’s wand was a Walnut, 12 and three-fourths, unyielding and a dragon heartstring core. The wand maker had told him that the core was rare seeing how kill dragons alone is nearly impossible. So it made Matthew feel slightly better that he had a one-of-a-kind wand for a one-of-a-kind person.
Arriving at Hogwarts wasn’t exactly a happy feeling. After getting off the train the bullying already began. A three man group of students pushed him off the train station and tossed one of his suitcases into the Great Lake upon their arrival at Hogwarts using the boats. Like that wasn’t bad enough during the sorting ceremony Matthew was sorted into the Ravenclaw house. Why? Nobody really knew. Before the hat could even rest on Matthew’s head it had already shouted “Ravenclaw!” Even though the table full of Ravenclaws were happy about their new house-mate Matthew could already feel his fathers shame. Both Matthew’s parents were in the Slytherin house. Matthew could always remember hearing his father mention how much he’d enjoy having his son in the family house. And then to hear the disappointment that the first child of the Armani bloodline isn’t in Slytherin? How could a child cope? After the great feast Matthew went to his dorm room were most of his things were unpacked and put away. Sitting at the desk Matthew wrote a letter to his father saying how much he enjoyed the Slytherin common room and his new house mates. While taking the classes Matthew had shown very promising skills in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, and in Charms. Matthew would right to his father once a week telling him how much he loved being in Slytherin. Hopefully he was able to lie each year to his father about being in the family house.
During the summer time Matthew mention nothing about the time at Hogwarts to his father and stayed focused with studies and the Dark Arts. When returning for his second year Matthew made a new friend who wasn’t exactly a good friend. To his face he was Matthew’s best friend but behind his back he backstabbed him. When Matthew had finally found out hell broke loose. During a simply Defense Against the Darks Arts class Matthew and his friend Jason were partnered together for dueling. Matthew had finally confronted Jason about the lie of a friendship they had and the backstabbing he did. When the professor teaching the subject left the room for a few minutes hell was released. Matthew had let Jason have it. Spells were flying all over the place. Both boys were attacking and defending with great strengths. But, Matthew was quicker. For a brief second the mini battle was over; so Jason thought. When both wands were lowered Matthew raised his wand casting one of the Dark Magic spells he had memorized while studying. Leaving Jason with gashes over his chest and arms. At the same time when Matthew had cast the spell the professor had walked in and stunned Matthew with a drop of a hat. When Matthew’s spell left his wand, Matthew was knocked to the ground. When Jason was slightly healed and Matthew unstunned and in the Headmasters office. The headmaster had explained about the two types of magic. Good and Dark. And the headmaster explained that we should only learn good magic for good people. But he was wrong. Matthew was a dark person who was wanting to learn more dark magic. Simply nodding his head to what the headmaster had to say Matthew was suspended for the year. He finished his second year at home in his room sending owls back and forth from Hogwarts with assignments and hand-ins.
Between Matthew’s 3rd – 5th years at Hogwarts nothing really happened. Matthew still had a low social life. He did do a lot of flirting with both genders having a one night stand every now and then when lucky. He did become more attractive each year. He also become more darker with the Dark Arts. Every now and then Matthew would question his father about sending him to Hogwarts when he could of gone to Durmstrung. That school was based on Dark Magic and that was his passion were the Dark Arts. But his father would always say, “It was what your mother wanted.” He always laughed or rolled his eyes when his father mentioned that statement every time. Coming home from his fifth year at Hogwarts, Matthew had something to be proud of. He came home with a dueling trophy and all O’s on his OWL’s expect potions and History of Magic. Unlocking the door Matthew’s spider senses were tingling. Dropping his bag and trophy’s Matthew drew his wand calling for his father or somebody in the house. Checking all the rooms Anthony finally came to his fathers study. Dead. Obviously his father wasn’t going to die without the fight be he was to slow. Seeing his father Matthew teared up swearing revenge on his father. Even though Matthew and his father didn’t have the greatest relationship. Not even a relationship actually. They were still family. And family protected one another. Once his father was death Matthew was head of the bloodline. The Armani manor and the riches were all his. With it being it sixth year at Hogwarts Matthew plans on doing better … in the Dark Arts. Anthony can definitely feeling something is steering between the balance of Good and Dark. And the Dark side was where Matthew wanted to be. So what brings Matthew in his sixth year?

Sitting up Matthew twilled his wand in his hand. "12 inches and three-fourths... Walnut... Dragon heartstrings... Unyielding..." Matthew muttered to himself examining his new wand. Staring at the suitcases packed neatly in the corner of his room Matthew whipped his wrist widely. Bombarda! Within seconds the suitcases blew into millions of piece. Chunks of wood, silk, metal were all over the place, some on his bed. Sighing he sat up grabbing his white uniform shirt from the bed side. Rubbing his pale chest softly he slide himself into the uniform shit buttoning it up slowly. "Oculus Reparo..." Her muttered waving his wand lightly as the suitcases started to mend back together. It was just one of those days of Anthony. Not feeling right nor wrong. Just one of those cloudy days people get every now and then.
Slinging his Ravenclaw sweater over his shoulder Matthew walked out side of his dorm room. Heading down the storm to the beat of the water dripping from the roof. Just a minor leak nothing nobody couldn't fix. Sighing he leaned against the door frame of the staircase and the common room his wand still in his hand as he twilled it still. Looking at the Ravenclaw student body cramming for exams. Exams were in a few weeks and Matthew wasn't exactly worried. He had a photographic memory. The only flaw in that is that what he rights down HAS to be right. If it's wrong it'll take me a solid week and a half to get it out of his memory and three weeks of pure studies to get the proper and right way into his mind. Checking the bulletin, Matthew scanned around. Test schedule was up great. Defense Against the Dark Arts. Pass. Herbology. Pass. Potions. I'll actually have to study for this test... Matthew though to himself groaning in a small amount of pain. Potions was the one subject Matthew wasn't exactly good at. He was good with the theories and everything else. But when it came to actually mixing wolfbane and dragon scales into a cauldron wow damn! That's a whole other story on it's own.
Walking out of the Ravenclaw common room Matthew headed down to the grand staircase created by Rowena herself. Impressed, Matthew had always wondered what the school was like with the original founders. To be taught by the top four wizards in wizard history. Godric Griffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff. Who would be a idiot to go up against them? Powerful witches and wizards of their time. Merlin himself probably feared them too. Standing in the center of a staircase while in motion Matthew heard the familiar sound of his owl flying around. Looking up he whistled for it as he swooped down dropping a letter for him. Picking it up Matthew grinned right away when he saw the seal on the back of the letter.
