Gabriel woke to his alarm at six thirty that saturday morning, like always. It was quiet in the dorm room. No one but him would wake to his alarm because of the charm his father had put on it, so he quietly go out of bed and walked over to his dresser opening the third drawer from the bottom. In it everything was cluttered and all his clothes were bundled and stuffed into the drawer. After shifting through it for a few moments he managed to find a clean pair of gray hufflepuff sweats. He looked back over to his friends sleeping to make sure he hadn't woken them up as he pulled on the pants over his boxers and then the shirt pushing the sleeves up to his elbows. He took a look in the mirror and ruffled his hair up a bit with his hand. He kicked on his running shoes and then quietly left the dorm and started jogging quickly making his way out of the common room not looking twice over it to see if anyone was awake yet.
He quickly jogged around the corners in the halls and was soon enough out of the castle and making his way over the bridge. He then turned left down the path to the lake. It wasn't easy to run on the coarse rock beach but he liked the challenge. When he had been jogging for about twenty minutes he slowed down and pulled off his damp shirt from the rain. He was well built but wasn't much for showing it so he looked around and didn't see anyone so he tossed his shirt on the stone beach and stretched his arms out twisting his body making his back crack. He bent over hooking his fingers under his shoes. It felt good to stretch out his body after the night.
His eyes wandered over the lake and he loved the feeling of the light drizzle on his face and chest. His gaze was broken and he crouched down to dip his hand in the cold water splashing some on his face. He then stood up and walked over to where he put his shirt and used it to whip his face. As he did so he heard someone approach by the movement of rocks on the beach and he quickly but clumsily tried pulling his shirt on. It slightly stuck on his head and he fumbled trying to pull it down so he could see who it was.
