It wasn't exactly, 'the next day'. As they had talked about on the shores of the lake where they had walked that night. But, it was the day after that. Not too long. She had seen him in the halls. Gotten one quick hug, but they had been too busy, that next day for anything to really settle into a schedule.
But today, today Lace made time for him. On purpose.
He had no idea either. She had worked hard to free up her afternoon schedule. Having had her tutoring session with a Hufflepuff earlier after lunch instead of right now after all the classes were over. Making sure that she could get them some food and that she had a note from a professor to be on grounds instead of eating inside the Great Room. Not to mention, so long as they were in before dark, they wouldn't get in any sort of trouble for wandering around. She doubted that would be much of a problem.
Her school uniform hung just so on her body. Her hip length black hair had purple streaks in it today and hung with small gentle curls down her back and around her shoulders. The left side was pulled up by a small pin that was a little pewter colored flower with a black stone in it's center. It allowed all six piercings on her left ear to be seen. Her green eyes watched the room that she knew Christian would be coming out of. She had asked around, and basically had his entire schedule all panned out. Trying not to be a stalker, but to plan something fun and spontaneous she really needed to know some things.
The raw steak he had mentioned, was certainly a help.
When the class door opened and all the students began to walk through it, she straightened up and smiled. Waiting for Christian and waiting to see his face when he realized that she was here waiting for him. When their eyes met, she smiled, pushing herself off the wall she had been leaning against and working her way through the flood of students and to him.
"I thought, it would be nice to have a picnic? I got some.. good food and umm... I thought.. maybe on the lawn? Unless.. you're busy I mean.. you know.. Cuz I'm sure you have things to do .. and what not."
She was trying to be confident. But she had no idea where she stood with Christian. They were in this funky limbo area. Of they weren't really dating, but they weren't not dating, they were kind of.. somewhere in between.
