“Oh, that’s it! You lacked the conviction to walk up to a relative stranger and engage in conversation about our rival houses.” Cali laughed at the thought of her being intimidating. She shrugged a shoulder. She could see where some could think that; especially if they don’t actually know her. She did stick out like a sore thumb anywhere she went. Cali smiled at the image that produced. Unlike tom’s firewhiskey goggles on the day they met, Cali saw past the arrogant, conceited veneer. She saw the potential of the man underneath.
Cali saw something pass across Tom’s features. Unsure of what it was, she thought of everything it could be. Jealousy would have been way down the list. Yet, something told Cali to watch his expressions. He wanted to ask her something. What could that be? Cali ran her fingers through her hair, her bangs always getting in the way of being able to see out of her right eye; not that it mattered.
Cali smirked. ”so that’s what it was…Jealousy…never would have thought of that…” Cali thought, trying to hide her smile at the thought. ”I doubt there’ll be any you’ll have problems with. The bludgers on the other hand are a different story. Some always stray into the watching crowd…” Cali giggled softly at the thought of Tom batting away the fly away bludgers. It was an interesting visual.
Cali smirked as her own thoughts ran rampant. She could just imagine what sort of trouble they could get into with those boots and some candle wax. She shuddered at the soft touch of Tom’s hand running up and down her leg. He wasn’t looking at her again, at least, not her face again; which gave her a chance to smile without him catching her.
Tom rubbing her legs comforted her while her thoughts drifted again to their earlier encounter. She was beyond scared when Lucas hit Tom with that spell. All that blood Tom lost; Cali paled just thinking about it. She was still kind of shocked that her spell worked. She buried her face in the crook of Tom’s shoulder and neck, trying to hold back the tears that came to her eyes at her thoughts. She didn’t want to think about a life without Tom and his sarcastic comments; or his sweet comments.
Cali smirked at Tom’s mocking comment. She shook her head before looking at him ”You just love mocking my words don’t you?” Cali asked, but there was laughter in her eyes. She had said those words, but now, she was thinking of taking them back. Was there a need for them anyway when her thoughts kept drifting to them?
Cali trembled slightly when Tom moved his arm to her hip opposing him. She shuddered at the words he whispered into her ear. It was pure seduction at it’s finest. Cali’s whole body quivered as Tom bit her ear lobe and his tongue darted out to run along it. She squealed slightly as tom slipped from the counter, Cali held snuggly against him. Quickly enough, she wrapped her arms around his neck. ”My hero, carrying me off to a secluded place…” Cali blushed at her words, and she was truly happy now she didn’t have any roommates. They’d just get in the way…if anything ended up happening; which Cali sort of wished something would.
