Kayla rested her head on Liam's shoulder, smiling softly as he apologised for bringing up the fact of offering to kill her brother. She wasn't offended or upset by his suggestion, it was actually sweet of him. That he would kill for her to make her happy, not that she was going to let him do that. She wasn't that selfish. "Don't worry about it. It's not like I haven't thought about killing him myself." Said Kayla wrapping her arms around his waist. Kayla always felt safe with Liam, which was why she was so glad he was back. Kayla hoped he wouldn't leave again, or if he did then he would have to take her with him, only if he wanted to ofcourse.

It was then that Kayla remembered a conversation they had a while back, back when they both admitted they liked each other. It was the last time Kayla was actually happy so ofcourse she was going to remember the conversation. Kayla tilted her head back and looked up at Liam. "Liam, do you remember a while ago now, before you were ill were we agreed that we would wait to be together once I have graduated from Hogwarts? Asked Kayla. The question may confuse Liam but she had a point and would soon get to it. She just hoped he would remember them talking about that.

Kayla smiled as she felt Liam wrap his arms around her. She sighed, comfortably as she finally felt safe. Probably for the first time since she was attacked by the vampire six years ago. However she was not going to think about that right now. Things were just starting to look good and she didn't want to dwell on the past. She heard Liam speak, and ask her why she brought it up. Kayla smiled slightly, tilted her head back and looked up at Liam. "Cos I don't want to wait anymore."

[/color] Said Kayla simply. She wasn't going to go into a long detail about why she brought it up. She knew Liam loved her and wanted to be with her, so there was no need to be nervous or shy. She may aswell come right out with it.

If they did agree to become a couple before Kayla graduated they were going to have to be careful when around the school. The reason being because Liam is a staff member and Kayla is student. Yes he wasn't a professor but if those were the rules for professors then surely it was the same for all staff. The thought of a secret relationship did sound rather exciting, and it could be fun sneaking around and spending time together during school term. Kayla waited patiently for Liam's reply as she brushed a strand of her chocolate brown hair out of her face.

Kayla hoped he would agree, he didn't have to ofcourse. If Liam thought it was best that they waited until she had finished school then she would wait. It was going to be hard because when she was around him she wanted to hug him and more, but for obvious reasons they would not really be able to do that out on school grounds. They were going to have to be really careful. Kayla chewed on her bottom lip as she waited. When he finally spoke she smiled. Kayla lightly caressed his cheek, making sure no one was around before she did so. "You sure, because if you think it's too risky then we can wait or I can drop out. I've actually been thinking of doing that for a while."

[/color] Said Kayla still looking up at him. Being this close to him it was hard for her to not lean up and kiss him, which she so wanted to do right now. She would have to wait until they were somewhere more private. Where they would be less likely to get caught.

The next question kind of confused her. She understood completely what he said but it was the way he asked her. The question was a typical, everyday question, but when he asked her if she wanted to do anything this weekend he sounded a little......nervous. Kayla smiled when she had some idea of what he was trying to do. "You asking me out Liam?"[/color] She asked with the same happy smile she had had on her face ever since he had told her he loved her. Kayla didn't mean to put him on the spot like that, but she was trying to help him become more direct. Help him realise that he didn't have to tread carefully around her or plan out every single thing. However Kayla knew what he was like, and he was a careful guy, safe. Which was exactly what she needed. All her life she had felt unsafe until Liam came along. Kayla loved him more than anything and she was not going to give him up without a fight.

Kayla continued to gently rub his cheek in his embrace. She smiled slightly when he told her not to drop out. She didn't see a problem with dropping out, but she would stay if he wanted her to. Liam soon confirmed that he was sure about them being together, which was great. If they weren't on school grounds Kayla would have jumped him by now, but she restrained herself and just smiled softly back. Kayla couldn't remember the last time she was this happy. She had a funny feeling it was before she came to Hogwarts.

The Ravenclaw laughed a little as he admitted that he was trying to ask her out. She knew Liam was not the most confident person in the world, but he was definitely alot more confident than he was the first time she met him. She also knew why that was, hell if she had been through what he had been through she too would probably be on the shy side. "Well in that case I'd love to go out with you. Got any ideas where we going or you going to surprise me?"

Kayla laughed a little when Liam admitted he had no idea where they could go. She wasn't laughing at him, just at what he had said. Since he was American she wasn't surprised he didn't know the area to well. Kayla bit her bottom lip for a moment as she thought. It had to be somewhere good, ofcourse, but also somewhere off school grounds. Somewhere where they could be themselves and relax and not have to worry about being caught. Kayla looked back up at Liam, smiling. "Well there is a restaurant in London, not too far from the Leaky Cauldron. You know where that is right?"

[/color] Asked Kayla, hoping that he did. Her plan was was that they could meet there and then walk to the restaurant. It was literally a five minute walk.
