- Professors do lessons but they are usually all RPed out with students involved. With no professor there isn't really a class to attend to.. unless you g-mod one for the time being... if there is a professor for that class, then you cannot g-mod in that professor.
- Professors are allowed to teach how ever they like and usually its things you learned from the books or there are websites you can get the info from, or just teach what you know or research or whatever. If you want to make it up but it most make sense and seem real.
- Grading scale works like the books
Grading scale:
O - Outstanding
E - Exceeds Expectations
A - Acceptable
P - Poor
D - Dreadful
T - Troll - Doing whatever small homework a professor might ask gets you house points(5 to 10, depending on how well done), but does not count for a grade, while quizzes or tests (dont count for house points) that might be given do... and of course you can cheat and be an A+ student or not and be a horrible graded student, it's all up to you and what you want with your character.
- Quizzes are usually given out once or twice a semester (which work like real schools and last for a few 3-4 months (summer time I usually take away the school insides and make a summer places to rp (3 months) ) or how ever often a professor decides.... you only get grades and what-not as long as you are signed up for that class.
- extra credit is to help with grades, and can be used for house points if the professor feels it was above and beyond done. Extra credit should be between 10-15 house points only.
- Tests are usually once or twice only also. quizzes are usually more common. I try to keep the professors to take grades down (like in a certain thread in the classroom keep track of them) and if the students signed up don't take the quiz that's fine, don't count against you, but if they do then they can add up to whatever grade. Grades really don't matter overall that much. I've tried to do it where only certain years had to take certain classes and all that but people don't always care about the class room stuff as much. Some do.... i think its fun teaching classes actually I have taught a few of the different ones. I might start teaching a few actually just to get classes going and what not
- Usually a quiz or test will be put up as a new thread and you answer the few questions (shouldn't ever be very much, this is for fun now not serious business)and owl mail (PM) that professor the quiz/test and answers then your grade will be posted on a thread with everyone else.
- Each lesson is over usually one topic and for certain years only. You can do like years 1-3, 4-6 and 7 or something and group them together in the same lesson but higher advance stuff should be for higher years only.
- Minor issues should be between 5-15 points only depending on issue. Admins always have the final say in how many points. The form should have an url to the thread so we can judge if we seem the points are too much or too less for the issue.
- More sever issues (Breaking major issues, helping solve crime, etc) should be between 20-30 points.
