[/i] Her mother reached for a small coin purse just inside the door. Then handed Ellison a sickle. Ellie placed them in the pouch on the owl's leg, they received high payment for coming so far out, and carefully untied the letter. They owl then flew off without warning. The letter contained the writing:

Ellison looked at her mom, "Sassy, but exact," she said with a chuckle. Her mother smiled and urged her to open it. Ellie open it and pulled out the parchment. "Dear Ms. Wysecross," she began. "We are please to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." A huge smile grew upon Ellie's face while her mother began to cry. "Mum, what's wrong?"
"Honey, this is the beginning to your life! I'm so proud! We will begin shopping tomorrow," her mother said through the tears. Suddenly a timer went off, and her mother ran to catch dinner before it burnt.

She didn't tell any of her sisters until the next morning. Evie was the most excited of all. But only Ellie and her mother were going shopping, the rest had to stay with their father today. When the time came for them to leave, Ellen made a public announcement. "Your father is working upstairs, do not disturb them, understood?" All the girls nodded and Ellie and her mother took floo powder to diagon ally. Ellie fist was getting robes, they had to be shortened for her. Her most favorite store was Ollivander's where she got her wand that was 10 and 1/3 inch, birch, unicorn hair core, and rather springy. But indeed they did go home with all of Ellie's books and her new owl, Sage.

But what made Ellie nervous, was getting onto platform Nine and three quarters. It caused her to have trouble sleeping the few days before she was due to leave. Ellie promised she would write and send Sage back and forth. She took a deep breath, she had been packed for two weeks now, and every book was read at least once. It was time for Ellie to lead the way into a chapter of their lives. And because of it, going to the platform became her threshold.
