[/i] He hung his key on the rack and ripped his soaking wet jacket off and threw it at the dryer. Landon walked into his bedroom and stripped. All he wanted was some dry clothes, a nice warm meal, and to sleep he next week away. With the flick of his was all his wet clothes went straight to the washer. He grabbed some shorts and slapped them on. Sitting on his bed, he tried to remember some of the things his mother used to make for him when he was little. His favorite was chicken pot pies. Landon opened his eyes and sauntered to the kitchen. He was in no mood for people after the day he had. Placing the pot pies in the oven, he reached up into his cupboard to grab a cookie. Snicker doodle of course. He just needed to calm down. His job this past week was working on the Gringotts Bank. They wanted to add more vaults, and do this you need to mine. And all because of those stupid enchantments, every thing must be done by hand.. he thought in his head. Landon would never be able to understand how the muggles could live without magic. And after all the jobs he has ever had, this one made his muscles hurt so bad. Eventually his body was so tired it almost collapsed to sleep. He decided it was best to sit down and jut read the evening edition of the Daily Prophet. "That's all that's ever in the news..." he grumbled. "Ministry Problems or innocent people dying. What a shame the minister himself doesn't just keel over." As he was flipping through the pages, he came upon an interesting ad.

HOGWARTS NEEDS PROFESSORS
After the recent retiring of a few professors from Hogwarts this past year, the headmaster has been looking for replacements. All that is you need is proof that you know your subject! That includes O.W.L.s and your N.E.W.T.s to show you learned everything at Hogwarts. On the application you need to prove why you are knowledgeable in that subject.

Landon was in the need of a job. A real job. Being a professor couldn't be so hard could it? he asked himself. And as most lonely people will do, he answered himself. No, it can't be.., Landon cut out the ad and would get an application at the end of the workday. He decided if he worked through lunch, he could get out of there just early enough. Suddenly an alarm went off. Landon bolted upright, his wand at the ready. Taking a deep breath and relaxing, he realized it was just the oven. His pot pies were done cooking. Landon ate and then went to bed. All he looked forward to was getting a job at Hogwarts. "That will show my old man..... he mumbled as he fell asleep. His next day was going to be hard and long, but like always he knew he was going to conquer it.
