There was defiantly something special about Terrence and she couldn’t bear to lose him so soon. She parted Terrence’s fingers with her own and pulled him closer to the edge with her. She then took a deep breath, knowing an explanation was needed. ‘Look don’t laugh’ she said, unable to look at him. ‘But…I can’t swim’. She could only bring herself to whisper it, hoping he had heard so she wouldn’t have to repeat herself. And then Alley did something that was very rare – she blushed a little.
