Lorcan opened the kitchen door only slightly, trying to sneak in to grab a quick bite. He was awfully hungry as the only thing Lorcan seemed to find at dinner was meat…everywhere. He had settled on some bread but it didn’t fill him. That was a poor choice for a vegetarian to eat; meat.
”Lumos,” He whispered to his wand. He didn’t want to take the risk of turning on the lights. Especially considering he wasn’t supposed to be down there, he was supposed to be up in the Gryffindor common room. He pulled the hood of his black sweater off his head, shaking his thick messy brown hair free of his eyes and located the line of fridges. He looked in the first one and found, like the table at dinner, meat. He shook his head forlornly as he shut that door and opened the next.
Inside he found his treasure. Grabbing things at random, he shut the door and sat down at the large island in the middle of the room, used to prepare food. Placing everything he grabbed on the table, he looked around for the bread and a knife to cut up the veggies he took. He found the bread easy enough. The knife was going to be a bit more difficult as there were so many drawers in which they could be kept. He would have used a spell but didn’t know if there was one to use your wand as a cutting utensil. Lorcan smirked, he was going to have to go to the library again and look that question up. ”Maybe Paige can help me with that…” he thought, still searching for that knife.
