This is my longest post EVER not joking. 900 words including this. I added this just to throw in a twist. Hope you like it!)
It has been a long two days, and still nothing. No sign of him. Tasha was not going to give up though. She knew he was alive somewhere. After leaving her hotel room in Chicago, Illinois and after renting a black convertible she headed south back to her very first home in Braidwood, Illinois. Lucky her old home was bought buy some of her father’s old friends; John and Jenny Montgomery and they’re son Austin.
After taking half the day to get there and talking to them. She found it was worth nothing and sighed. She stayed there for the evening and then left early the next morning on her way back to Chicago. She had talked to Baylee and some other friends and hearing their happy voices cheered her up and to continue on her journey.
After returning the car and spending another night in the hotel room, she had bought a ticket and flew to another place, her new home that again, she knew well. Her new- well now old home, in Godric’s Hallow. She looked around her abandoned house seeing glass still broken here and there. Her piano was broken, where Death Eaters had thrown her brother. She fought back the tears. Now was not the time for them. Going upstairs, she passed the bedrooms, and headed into her father’s study. She sighed looking around at the now broken memories. “Dad, I need you. Where are you?” Tasha whispered looking around. A breeze had opened a window and blew some papers off her father’s desk. She found papers talking about the minister, the ministry and about Auors missing. She sighed once again. She also, which was surprising found a fresh letter. It looked weeks old. Was it a trick? It was her fathers handwriting so it couldn’t have been. She nodded to herself and read it:
Tasha,
If your reading this now, I am glad to call you me daughter. I told you, you were and are smart. When ever you read this, meet me at my work. See you soon,
Your Father. Tasha couldn’t believe it. She ran downstairs, finding what ever Floo Powder was left and left for her father’s office.
Once there she looked around. There was papers everywhere. She sighed seeing no one. As she turned to walked out the open door she was stopped by a tall man. He had dark dark brown hair, like hers and dark but bright green almost brown eyes, like hers. This man had some whiskers and looked tough but he gentle in someway. She knew that face well. It was her father. Victor Ashton. Tasha was shocked and didn’t say anything. “Hey Tash,” she replied with a gentle smile. “Dad,” she whispered. She could feel happy tears come down her face as they hugged. “But I thought you were…” “Dead?” he finished after they let go. “Well apparently not, because I am here,” he replied with another smile. “But how?” she asked. “Long story,” he said. He shut the door, they sat down and he began to tell his story, answering all her questions.
“It started out as a normal day. I couldn’t wait to hang out with my family on my daughter’s 16th birthday. As it grew dark and stormy all of a sudden, I didn’t know what to think. The lights went out, and you know what happens next. We were upstairs in the study, and heard crashing downstairs. Death Eaters stormed our house. They tortured and killed her mother and Joseph first and they and you thought I was killed too. Though luckily I had and knew something the didn’t. I was and am a true seer. I can see things at any given point. Though you should know by now that the future can change.” he had replied. Tasha nodded. “That would explained how all my nightmares become real,” she understood. He nodded and continued. “I had to make them and you think I was dead. I knew they wouldn’t kill you. As of then I have been keeping an eye on you in case something happen. But I knew you would figure it out soon,” he smiled. “You’re more like you mother and I everyday.” Tasha still couldn’t believe it. As you where traveling, and checked back to our first home first, I had talked to… I think her name is Paige. Yes, Paige. I had talked to her parents and they agreed, and if you want. To stay part of the summer, with me and work on your training, and part of the summer with them, if and when ever I’m gone and I say its to dangerous” He had finished. “Are you serious?” Tasha asked amazed. “Of coarse,” He replied sitting back the way he normally did. “Yes, of coarse,” she smiled which he returned.
They continued to sit in his office and catch up on from the past year and half.
