A shadow flickered in the lights of a nearby torch, disturbing the peaceful dancing of it’s flames. It was the silence too, that was abruptly cut of by the sound of light, echoing footsteps. The interrupter was a small girl, short for her age, or so she claimed, but fairly well known for a seemingly innocent witch as her. Her breathing slow as she sneaked through the hallways on the tips of her toes, her bare feet, she shivered uncomfortably with every step she took due to the extreme coldness of the stone floor. She swore, this castle definitely lacked the luxury of carpet, it annoyed even her.
The slight breeze that managed to sneak through a nearby open window brushed passed her bare legs, and blew underneath the black, male-boxers she wore, increasing the amount of discomfort she already was forced to handle. Her favorite top for night-adventures was colored a light purple, violet-like, tight around her well-formed bosom, and decorated with several musical instruments, holding the text she loved; ‘I adore broke musicians’. Some called it a typical muggle shirt, but with her parents being of that origin, who were to blame her for it? However, that was a secret that no one had the right to know.
Ayla wetted her full lips gently with the tip of her tongue, moving the glistering ring that pierced her lips slightly as she did so. She sighed. All nights were the same, weren’t they? Sleepless, full with the snoring of her female roommates, no end to her worries and stress. She shook her head slightly to herself, her bright, rainbow locks falling over the sides of her face; perhaps she should have stayed inside for tonight, it was far colder than she had at first expected. It only proved that she was indeed the fool people thought she was.
