Sofiana's adjustment to Hogwarts was proving to be a lot easier than she initially thought it would be. Although she wasn't well acquainted with many of her fellow professors, she had managed to push all thoughts of her sister to the back of her head, and was now concentrating only on her classes. These were hard to organize, as Ancient Runes was very intricate and complicated. Hogwarts was a massive change from Salem: for starters, it was an all-witches school, so Sofiana had never had to deal with boys before. Hopefully they wouldn't be too much trouble, but considering the details on their sign up forms, Sofiana couldn't be too sure. Teaching girls had always seemed easier for her, of course she couldn't really be too sure having never taught boys before, but observation of her fellow male classmates while she was at Hogwarts told her so.
She walked into the teachers lounge and took a seat at a free table. She took out some parchment, a quill and some ink and her books, and began taking notes on what she could teach in her classes. This was the hardest part for Sofiana, as there always seemed too much. Ancient Runes was such a vast subject, and she always found it difficult to separate the most vital points about Runes from the least important points. She was constantly changing her mind, and was always scribbling out things on her class plan, and was only ever fully satisfied after a dozen edits. Perhaps she was a little too engrossed, but Sofiana hadn't even thought about maybe striking up a conversation with one of her fellow professors. Most would say she was a workaholic, but Sofiana preferred to let friendships happen on their own without forcing them.
