Detailed Personality : Cate was brought up by her mother mostly. Her father was almost never there he being locked away in Rastaban. Being brought up by her mother made her a prim and proper young lady with a bit of sass, no matter how much her mother denies she has it. Cate respects her elders and likes to make them think she is sweet and innocent her outer appearance helps her there but when their backs are turned she can be as snooty as needed though she would never shun anyone she didn't like... There is little Cate remembers as a toddler but she's been told much about it only because she's an only child. Her mother always told her what a small baby she was at two weeks early she was a pretty small baby. Being early was the only complication on her birth. She grew up healthy and strong with minor scrapes and bruises. The earliest childhood memory that she can remember would be the first and the last time her father left them. He had told Cate he was going to find a job that was way far from the truth. He was Turning himself in as a death eater. Cate only found out the truth years and years later. He was a convicted death eater. Maybe that was where she got her sass from. From then on her mother brought her up all ways making sure Cate acted like a young lady should. Taking her to tea parties even putting her in a few pageants it till the third pageant that her mom stopped putting her in them it was the first time she had show any signs of being a young witch. Her mom was thrilled and shocked all at the same time. Cate had made a prop fall on another contestant who was Cate's made competition. The other little girl was unhurt but it hurt her score and ego pretty bad. That was the first and only pageant Cate won because it was her last pageant. After that her mom kept a close eye on her having little talks with her about how wrong it was to do magic when not in school. When school finally came Cate was so happy she had gotten her letter from hogwarts and that was all she talked about the whole day till her mom told her she wouldn't be attending Hogwarts and Cate put on the biggest tenter tantrum she had ever put on. She had been told she would be going to a smaller school an non boarding school mainly because her mom wanted to keep an eye on her. For the next four year Cate showed her dislike of the school and her and her mothers relationship suffered greatly. She is a girl who holds grudges what girl doesn't? Her mother finally changed her mind after the school Cate was going to got smaller and smaller the quality started to depleted.

Sample RP: It was late too late for Cate to be out off bed but she didn't care and didn't fallow the rules one bit. The castle was her play ground, was the way she felt as she slid down the stair case the wind brushing her hair over her face. She was coming to the end of the Bannister and quickly jumped off falling feet first past a whole but of stair cases finally one was moving and Cate landed softly on the middle step; god she loved magic. She laughed softly but hushed a little when a painting woke up and said something mean and Cate replied "Aw don't be grumpy just because you're confined to a wall" she smiled and skipped way down the now still stair case. She didn't care she was making a bit of noise at least she didn't care till she heard someone else that was when she quickly ducked behind a thing of armorer. It was peeves and her heart beat got quicker she would have rather it been a professor she hated that peeves. She was singing some song that made Cate get a chill for a moment he song "Crazy kids are out of bed, Crazy kids better have dread." Did he know she was out of bed would he tell...yes...but he had said Kids there were some other students out of bed and Cate wanted to know who.
