Detailed Personality : Ryan, for the most part is almost always happy go lucky and friendly. He is very easy to befriend since he is not afraid to start conversation or talk. Sometimes he is viewed as annoying due to his sometimes frequent hyper streaks. He is optimistic and carefree around his friends almost all of the time. Ryan has a long fuse and will rarely get angry or annoyed; he is also seen as naive since he tries to make friends with anyone and everyone. He believes that everyone has the ability to change and to become good; this leads to his belief in second chances. If they hurt him, he can forgive easily. If it is his friends or family, it may take a little longer. He still has his childish side in him and can be hyper, bubbly, outgoing and will sometimes be a prank puller. Ryan can get very serious when he needs to, however and loves learning.
This Hufflepuff is loyal to his friends and will do almost anything to help them. If it is him being threatened, he usually goes on the defense as opposed to the offense, but will go out full force if his friends or family are being threatened. He's a firm believer in what he believes and will rarely back down, sometimes leading to him being slightly stubborn. However, he is more than open to new ideas and loves listening to other ways of thinking. When he's upset, he'll rarely let it show, unless it's really bugging him. Ryan's real parents are Barbra and Robert Ruckshack, they were half bloods. Since they weren't able to take care of him, he was put up for adoption when he was six months old. The Simons, Kathleen and Derrick, adopted him and raised him as their own son; for some reason they never told him that he was adopted. They were also half bloods. He had a nice childhood, grew up knowing manners and everything else a kid should know.
On March 3rd, when Ryan was four, he got an adopted younger brother, Edmund. Ryan and Edmund grew up as normal brothers did, and they got close to one another. Derrick would often take them outside and play. Ryan got a liking for trees and nature. On June 30th, when Ryan was eight and Edmund was four, they got another sister, Lila. They all grew up around magic as both their parents were wizards, but Derrick and Kath didn't really know if Ryan was a wizard or not since he hadn't shown any signs of it.
As Ryan and Edmund got older, they started a prank war game. While playing prank on Edmund, Ryan fell out of a tree and bounced, he wasn't hurt to badly. Ryan got his letter for Hogwarts when he was ten and his parents were pleased with that. They also finally told him that he was adopted, Ryan took the news with mild surprise and with a smile. They got his supplies for school and he was given a barn owl, Dusty, as a present. On September 1st, went to King's Cross and went to Hogwarts. Edmund missed him the most, as did Ryan. They would correspond almost every day and he'd come home for almost all the holidays. When Ryan graduates Hogwarts, one of his goals, along with becoming an auror, is that he'll find his biological family.

Sample RP: Adopted. Ryan walked into the Great Hall in his usual Hogwarts attire. Sun streamed down from the widows, illuminating the long tables laden with breakfast: the most important meal of the day, supposedly. Half of him still couldn't believe it, even after five years; half of his mind was still wondering why his (now adopted) parents never told him. Then his mind changed track as the fifteen year old looked at the tables. What new adventures lay ahead today? Joy started spreading across the Hufflepuff's face as the aspects started pouring into his mind. Perhaps he'd finally get a Slytherin friend! That'd be totally awesome. Actually, more than awesome; fantastic. If he ever got a Slytherin friend, a seemingly "impossible" task, he'd be ecstatic for the rest of his life. Scratch that, a few weeks; it had probably been done before, it's not like he'd be the first and only one.
The fifteen year old grinned, wondering what table he should sit at. He wasn't much into sitting at his house table, even though he loved his house like crazy and it was a rule. They were his family here at Hogwarts, but still, he thought the idea of House Tables bad for some reason. It only separated them as a student body. Ryan didn't really fancy the whole idea of Houses in general. Usually, it was the only rule around here that he'd break; if one of his friends was at a table, he'd go sit with them. Ryan didn't want to make a spectacle of himself or anything, but that's just how he felt. He felt that students in Hogwarts shouldn't be separated just because of houses. After a few moments, he sighed, not seeing any of his friends and sat down at the regular Hufflepuff table. He didn't really mind, but he saw these guys everyday at the common room.
The boy took a cup of pumpkin juice and some breakfast and ate. He wasn't much the breakfast eater, but lingered to see if Dusty would come down to see him. A few moments later Dusty came swooping down and landed, almost spilling the fifth year's juice. "Hey Dusty!" Ryan grinned, stroking his owl. The barn owl looked at him with large eyes and pecked at his human's toast. "Oh, right," Ryan laughed, picking it up and giving it to the brown bird. "Here you are," he smiled, stroking Dusty's head again. The owl ate it hopped on Ryan's shoulder then took off through the rafters. Ryan watched it leave then got up, grabbing his rucksack. Time to go to class and learn!
