This takes place a little after learning out about the Ghost she comes in contact with in the Great Hall area (Todd) ))

Adrian paced back and forth in her office as she tried to gather ever thing she wanted to say. After she had most of what she wanted to say figured out she walked over to her desk and took out a quill and several pieces of parchment. She took out her wand from her inner coat pocket and flicked it towards the quill and it started writing out invitation one after another to each person she had in mind. She flicked her wand again and they closed themselves up and shoved themselves into envelops. She then spoke to each one as she sealed it with a red stamp on the back and the flew off out of her office and raced to each person they had been in store for.

She then continued to pace back and forth again as she waited for the Professors and the Head Boy/Girl to come in. She walked over to Rosemary's Portrait hoping to find her there to have her invited to the little party too, if you could call it that. "Rosemary, are you there?" She called to the empty portrait. She looked around the portrait to see if any traces of her being there. She figured she was possibly out of her frame then doing something hopefully helpful for her, though she wasn't sure how much she really 'trusted' her yet considering she wasn't all that thrilled at first with even helping till she pretty much begged her.

She was arranging this little meeting right this second, during which classes should all be over for the day but not quite dinner time, to help address what has been happening and to get their help and input. She needed all the help she could get.

Especially after running into a ghost...

[Eva Bawdewyn]

Eva was in her room, resting. She was still a bit shook up by what had happened with Adrain. She had never met such an angry entity before. She still had visions of that angry little face. She shivered. It took her hours to get the cold out of her from the experience. She was just opening a book to try to get her mind off of it when a letter flew into her room. It was from Adrian. She cocked her head. Well, at least they were doing something.

She got up and headed for Adrian's office she wanted to be a part of whatever was going to happen. Especially since she had, had an experience with it? Him? She shook her head as she opened the door to walk to her office. She could have just apparated there but she wanted time to think, process what she had experienced. She knew Adrain had been there too, but still maybe she could remember something, or saw something she hadn't? She didn't like remembering that night, it freaked her out, but she tried to go over every moment in her head as she walked down toward her destination. She almost tripped a few times because she wasn't paying attention, and almost got off at the wrong landing before she noticed and hopped back onto the staircase before it moved.

She finally got to the headmistress's office, and knocked on the door, waited to be let in, and when she was, walked in. "Hello, Adrian. Are you doing okay?" She asked knowing she had been with the entity longer then her and she had been still afraid. She sat down, and waited for the rest of the crew she was going to see to show up.

[Neal Alex Bledsoe]

Neal had been writing a letter to Miss Evens. He had decided to see if she could give him any advice about his current feelings about his situation here back at school. He was just finishing his letter when a letter came fluttering in. He hadn't really been too aware of what was going on at the school, he had heard little whisperings, but he hadn't really paid too much attention. He was in his own head most the time, and until he figured his own problem out he probably wouldn't be much good. However he read the letter, and decided he better show up. It was from the Headmistress.

He left his room, after owling his letter to Miss Evens he headed toward Adrian's office. He wasn't sure what it was going to be about. He didn't have much experience with the mist or whatever, except for the opening night he hadn't had any run in. He made his way toward his destination, and wasn't too quick about it. He wasn't sure why he was dragging his feet, but he was. When he got there, he knocked on the door, waited for it to open, and walked in. He saw Eva was already there smiled at her, and nodded to Adrian.

[Rafael Ochoa]

Ochoa was in his room, which he referred to in his mind as his lair--because it was really far grander than was useful, but working in a castle necessitated a certain sense of grandeur, he supposed. He was reading, a byproduct of his free time--he had no homework or quizzes to grade, and he had yet to give a test so soon after break.

As a teacher, Ochoa was what he had heard a few students refer to as a 'hardass'. This was one of his Seventh year students, so he hadn't really expected anything less. Ochoa had a very odd attitude towards teaching. He didn't give any quizzes, assigned very little homework, and most of his classes were conducted with the students upright with their wands out. He only gave a few tests, but apparently he had managed to accomplish being a hardass, still. He didn't happen to take any shit from students, so that was probably related.

He turned a page in the book he was reading, and all of a sudden he heard something at the door. He stood, raising an eyebrow, moving one hand to his side--where his wand was, as always--and lowering his book, but not before placing a mark for the page. He walked to the door, and opened it, and saw an envelope. Due to being quite used to this form of communication from back at the Ministry, he extended a hand, relaxing, and the envelope plopped down into his hand.

He flipped it over, looking at the seal, recognizing it as the Administrative bull of Hogwarts. Well, didn't that just beat all. He closed the door, out of habit, and flicked his wand, opening the seal. He withdrew and examined the note, reading it quickly. He waved his wand again and the note soared over to his desk, and he exited the room, heading immediately for the office of the Headmaster.

He passed the gargoyles without seeing anyone, figuring he was either exceedingly late or exceedingly early, and ascended the stairs, wondering what this could be about. He knocked on Miss Schwartz' door, and then just took the initiative, opening it and stepping inside.

He recognized three people, which meant he was only a little early. The aforementioned Miss Schwartz, the Care of Magical Creatures Professor, Miss Bawdewyn, and the Professor of Flying, Mister Bledsoe.

"Good evening," Ochoa said, carefully, in his typical polite manner, although a little bit of careful confusion had found its way into his voice.

[Antonius Julius]

Antonius was tending the plants when a messege was delivered to him, it was from noone else than the headmistress. He quickly went to a pot near the door what was filled with dirt but no plant seed was in it after a quick dig he digged up his flask. Antonius sat down and took a deep sip thinking what would the headmistress want from a new teacher like himself. Antonius puted the flask back to the pot and covered it with dirt, he took something eatable to cover the smell of the alcohol. Antonius went near a nearby mirror to look how he looks like cleaning himself of the dirt and straightening his robe he makes his way to the office of the heamdistress

Antonius made his way to the East tower little more to go and he was soon at the Headmistress's office. He took a calming breath and entered the office. Antonius was suprised to see other teachers there too he smiled and gave every teacher a soft nod.

[Paige Lucas]

Homework, I hate you...Paige thought bitterly. She looked around the emtpy dorm room. Everyone else was lucky enough to be down in the Common Room enjoying the freetime before dinner. Everyone but her that is. Paige had been putting off a Potions essay for the past week and was now attempting to finish it before it's due date. Which, of course was tomorrow. The girl fell back against her bed in a huff. "I can't do this anymore!" she exclaimed in defeat, even though she had about five more paragraphs to do.

There was a sudden whooshing sound that caused her to sit up, an envelop fell into her lap. “What the…?” She looked at it curiously before opening the envelop. Paige was slightly surprised to see the Headmistress’s handwriting; it was an invite to a meeting that was starting soon. “Head Girl…and Boy.” Her heart sank; Sy was going to be there? I think I’d rather deal with homework. Reluctantly, Paige got out of bed. She looked down and decided to change out of her current attire into something more comfortable. Who knew how long it would take? Within minutes she was changed and heading out of the dorm. Ignoring the friends that called her over, Paige exited the Common Room in a hurry. If professors and the Head Boy and Girl were wanted, it had to be important.

Curiosity ate her mind. What could it possibly be about, she wondered. Truthfully, Paige didn’t even want to go. Mainly because of Sy, she had taken to avoiding him at all costs. She had even been skirting some of the Prefect meetings. Maybe that was what this was about. She sighed and looked up. “Damn…” She was in front of the gargoyles already. That’s what I get for thinking too hard. The Gryffindor said the password and stepped onto the stairs. Taking a deep breath, Paige knocked once before opening the door. “Good evening,” she said uncertainly as she hovered next to the door. Her green eyes scanned the room, with a breath of relief she noticed the Head Boy wasn’t there yet. Just Headmistress Schwartz and some professors.

[Sylvester Salazar Gaunt]

Sylvester was lounging on the couch in the Slytherin Common Room. It was relatively quiet in the room. Most of the first years were out playing in the snow and many of the older students were in their dorms or the library studying and working on homework. Sy, like many of the seventh years, had a potions essay due the next day, but he had written most of it, and was sure that he could get the rest written the next morning and if he couldn't, he'd just suck up to the teacher like he always did. It was great being one that so many of the teachers loved.

A bird flying in through the entrance to the common room made him sit up, looking over at the source of the noise. It was rather funny seeing the owls fly in through the main entrance to the common room, but since the Slytherin Commons was underground in the dungeons, there weren't any windows for them to come in through. "What do you want, you bloody bird?" he asked grumpily. It held out its leg to him and he untied the letter. Opening it, he recognized the handwriting of Headmistress Schwartz. Reading the letter over quickly, he got up. "Thanks," he muttered, scratching the owl on the head. He made his way out of the common room and walked up the stairs towards the ground floor. After several minutes, he was standing in front of the gargoyle to her office. He muttered the password before climbing the staircase and knocking on the door a few times before pushing it open slowly. He saw that several teachers were already there, as well as Paige Lucas. He couldn't stand the girl. However, he was going to act like he had no problem with her. He always put on an act infront of the teachers. Why else do you think that so many students couldn't stand him yet so many teachers had no problems with him?

"Headmistress Schwartz. Professors. Paige," he said, nodding first to the headmistress then the professors en masse, and lastly to the head girl. He had to force his smile when nodding to Paige. He despised the girl so much, but there was no need for any of the professors to know. "Sorry I'm late," he sstarted after a second. "I was asleep. The owl had to wake me up."

[Rosemary Dubois]

Rosemary was out and about, chatting with the other paintings. She especially loved talking with the old women. They had ears like no other. Rosemary had learned so much more about the school than any other thing. Rosemary wasn’t keen walking around and talking to the children. Never really liked them. Only put a front on in front of them. Especially for them other kind of blood…. Yeesh.

Deciding it was time to go back to her painting, Rosemary bid her farewells and floated off. As she was passing the halls, seeing the children, she put on a smile to all of them since they were smiling at her first. As she turned the corner, Rosemary made a face. Reaching the office, Rosemary heard Adrian call her. ”Ugh, what does she want now?” Muttering to herself. Going through the door, Adrian’s back was to her and then spoke up, ”Yes, I am here. Smiling to her as she went back into her painting. It felt as he was being sucked in, felt more whole there. More like home.

Sitting down into her chair in the portrait, Rosemary had seen four of the professors enter into the office and then a boy and girl… guessing by the ages, it was the Head Boy and Girl. She was wondering what was going on. Was there something wrong? A meeting or something? She didn’t know. Crossing her legs, Rosemary waited to find out what was going on.

Adrian waited patiently for everyone to arrive. She figured it would take a little while as everyone she was sure had their business to be attending to but she hoped they understood the urgency in her sending out letters to a meeting at this particular time. She paced back and forth around the room as she waited for everyone to arrive unable to stand still. Being still in one spot apparently made her nerves run more and made her feeling go numb but more of a very much going to be sick sort of way.

After having come in contact with a ghost and having more knowledge to understanding what was happening she was all in for trying to figure out a way to help this ghost or ghosts... That was a thought she hadn't quite thought of before, was there more than one? She shook her head in not wanting to believe that having only had contact with one was way over her head as it was. She couldn't seem to deal and handle one ghost much less a whole band of the same type of ghost. Yes, type of ghost for it was no way that it was just a normal ghost. Not that cold, chilly mist. Not the drowning freezing feeling she had witnessed with this ghost. Not the thin long fingers that could actually grasp at her and feel the presents of him against her skin. Oh no, not your every day Hogwarts ghost at all.

She looked down to her hands which we shaking. She tried to hold them still as much as she could and the shaking continued. She signed and wanted to cry hoping the release of hormones would really do their job in making her feel better but this was no time to fall apart! Not when the staff and students even were on their way to see her. She tried to plant a smile upon her petite face and it didn't seem to work. She decided against acting her normal cheery self and to just be open with what was going on.

Rosemary approached through her painting to sit into her chair. Adrian was slightly glad to see her for she needed her here for the meeting as well and was half afraid she might not return in time to attend. "Oh good. I am delighted. I am having a meeting here with the Professors shortly and I need you to be here as well. I have some news to discuss that I have witnessed and I need to officially introduce you to everyone as well as we all have a problem on our hands." Adrian stopped right after to take a breath as she didn't seem to breath within her tiny speech to Rosemary. She was apparently still quite shaken up.

The first knock on the door startled her. She flicked her wand towards the door to open it and watched as Professor Eva was the first through the door. Her eyes widen for a split second as if the memories of that night came floating back. "Oh, Hi, yes... Yes, I'm fine. How are you doing?" She asked honestly worried about her well being as well considering she was there along for the ride that night.

Neal came in following behind shortly after, he entered with a nod to them but seemed content with being quite which she didn't mind herself half afraid of everything she was about to have to unleash upon them all. She nodded back politely but her smile never seeming to exist in the mix as it usually would. Before long Professor Ochoa entered with a simple, good evening. She nodded towards him, "Thank you for taking the time to be here today." She said to all of them as they waited, soon later Professor Antonius entered with a simple nod as well. She was quite thankful for not having to keep up with conversation before everyone arrived as she still silently collected her thoughts to what the evening would consist of on what and all information she was going to give out; After all two students were going to be a part of this event and she didn't want them going on to scare the rest of the school.

As Paige made her way through the door and scanned the room, Adrian actually found a tiny smile as she welcomed her, "Oh, well. Welcome Paige, please come in. Have a seat if you like." She exclaimed as she took her wand that was now tucked under her arm and flicked her wand to have several extra chairs appear into the room. She hadn't thought before of having chairs for those that mind want to relax rather than stand in place ever so uncomfortably. Quickly soon after, Sylvester entered and was polite enough to address the room as he entered. Adrian found him to be a good young boy in ways she sometimes questioned herself but never found anything to see bad in him. "Oh no worries Mr. Gaunt. We are still waiting for whom is left to join us. Please, have a seat with Paige for this will all effect you both as well." She flicked her wand once again for a comfy chair to appear next to Paige. She figured the students would be more comfortable in numbers with each other as well as for comfort when they found out what was going on.

[Akecheta Archer]

Akecheta Archer had spent most of the evening grading journals and a quiz he had enforced on the First Years earlier that morning... He didn't think it was possible, but the first years had actually managed to all excel on the exam.. which was surprising since, they had taken so long to calm down the day before during the lecture. At the most they only missed one or two questions.. He couldn't wait to reward them for their scores.. true, most student's thought Akecheta was a bit to strict, but he would reward them for their hard work.. His thoughts were interrupted by a letter falling in his lap.. He flipped it over noticing immeadiatly that it was from the Headmistress.. He read it quickly before standing up and throwing a black jacket on over his t-shirt and jeans before heading for the office.. He wasn't sure what was going on.. Why would she request to see him? Was something wrong? He shook his head to bring him back to a calm state as he approached the office... "Hello..." He began as he notice everyone in the Headmistress' office already..., "Oh my..what's going on Adrian?" He asked the Headmistress directly.. his eyes worried as he looked at her and then back to the faces in the room..

[Abagail "Abbie" Dreyer]

"Welcome Professor Archer," Adrian announced as he walked in. "I guess it's time to get to that point, isn't it?" Adrian asked more to herself. She looked around at the faces watching her and felt slightly dizzy for a split second. She wasn't usually nervous in front of a group but for this particular conversation she didn't know where exactly to begin and how to come forth with the information. She was a loss for words and her mouth dropped and closed a few times as if to speak but no sound came out.

She sighed heavily and started to pace around the room, looking down at the floor to not have to watch their gazes upon her. "Well, then..." she started but then paused once more. "The reason I have asked you all here today is to give some insight to what has been happening around here lately." There she said the first sentence. The pressure seemed a little less pressing down upon her shoulders and she felt more natural then the moment before. She looked back up around at everyone to meet their eyes. She was firm into giving eye contact when speaking and wasn't about to lose that standard now in such times. She must be brave and have the courage to deal with her own staff or what kind of headmistress was she?

"Professor Eva and I came into contact with the mystical fog once again a few days ago." She motioned her hand towards Eva then gave a hand gesture in which to ask her to come join standing by her in front of everyone. "Now, I don't want anyone alarmed and I don't want the whole mass student body knowing neither if we can manage it. " She looked over to the Head boy and girl and gave them a firm look. "As the head boy and girl I thought you two should be in the loop in helping keep things at peace as much as we can handle it and I don't want either of you talking about it beyond the people in this room or I will remove you from your positions!" She didn't like much being stern or mean but it was not a situation in which she could be light and took charge of letting her emotions and body language as well her tone of voice in letting them know that.

She turned back to everyone as a whole, and began once again."I came across a journal which happened to be Rosemary's, the headmistress from a 130 years ago. 12 students went missing and were never found again. The ghost we saw was one of the names. He didn't seem happy and was very much out to .... get us, to put it lightly." She turned to the portrait behind her, "Rosemary, please your assistance here would be nice as well, please come join us," she commanded in hoping she would listen and come out of her portrait so everyone could really get a look at her and be more formally introduced. "After much digging I found the name of who's journal it was and found Rosemary in her portrait right under my nose the whole time!" she exclaimed quite unhappily that Rosemary didn't say a word to her as she possibly watched her for how long righting to figure things out? She hadn't told Rosemary yet about what they had seen that night. She had been a little behind on talking to anybody about it having had her wits quite scared out of her. She used the last few days to think and recuperate from their encounter. She turned back to the waiting faces and continued. "You see, we believe it was a ghost or a spirit or whatever exactly you would want to call it, but definitely some sort of version of it, but not exactly like the rest of the ghosts we are use to around here." She knew most of them would give her funny glances considering that ghosts were a common thing to see around Hogwarts. She looked around then asked the question she wasn't 100% ready for, "Anyone have any particular questions?"

[Eva Bawdewyn]

Eva looked a bit shell shocked when she was pointed out and then motioned to stand next to Adrian. She hoped she was expected to tell what she saw. She really hated re-living the scene. She already re-lived it enough as it was whenever she closed her eyes at night. It seemed to be a recurring dream that she was having now that had her waking up in a sweat almost every other night. She had kept it quiet and wasn't telling anyone. She stood up and took her place next to the Headmistress and listened to her speak. She was feeling very uncomfortable, but she tried not to show it on the outside. She didn't know what to do as far as how to look, so she put on her sour serious face that made her look extremely uptight, but to tell the truth she had been ever since the experience.

When Adrain stopped talking and asked for questions she decided to say a bit of what she noticed about the entity they had ran into. "Well... I don't have any questions at the moment, but I would like to add some information on what I observed, felt, and saw in my words." Her voice though didn't seem very confident in this it was shaky, soft and tentative. Like she was only doing so because she felt like she should rather then actually wanting too. She cleared her throat in an attempt to try to make herself seem a bit more confident sounding. "The entity that we ran into started out as mist that surround us at the feet. However, I did see it briefly turn into a hand in the fog and grab at Adrian. I am not sure whether it actually gripped her as I wasn't to her at that time. When I stepped into the fog..." She shivered and looked down at the floor, she brushed a stray lock of curl that had fallen in her face away and then continued. "I was instantly chilled almost to the bone, and the noises..." She closed her eyes, and her hands started to rub together in nervousness. "They were heart breaking, and terrifying. I felt that whatever this entity is, it is angry, and will possibly do harm if they could. It also too shape briefly, but could not form a corporeal body like most of our ghosts we see around here. Also it seemed to not have the strength to hold it. We just have to hope that maybe because of whatever happened to them that they won't ever be able to." She shivered again, at the thought of what these entities, or entity could do if it did. The malice that was brought forth through it was terrifying.

She sat back down, really not being able to stand anymore, she was shaking so badly. She gave Adrain a lot of credit for being able to keep her cool up there right now. She was a strong woman, and she had great respect for her. She had been there, she had known the sounds, sights, feelings, and she couldn't even hold herself together. She made eye contact with Adrian and gave a slight nod, as if to say that she was behind her, and sent her whatever strength and encouragement she could to go on. She then dropped her head down to look at her own hands that she was holding together to not have it be seen so readily that they were shaking like a leaf with just the memory of what they had gone through.

[Paige Lucas]

Paige immediately sat like she was told. As curious as she was, the Gryffindor just wanted to get it all over with. Her stomach dropped when she heard the door open, Paige didn't even both turning around. She knew who it was when he spoke. Cursing inwardly, Paige had no choice but to look around when he addressed her. "Hello Sylvester," she said with a curt nod. It was really hard for her not to sneer at him. Unfortunately, with all the professors in the room, she had to play nice.

The girl tensed a little when Professor Schwartz suggested he sit next to her. Oh you've got to be bloody kidding me. Paige jumped a little when she ghost float into one of the potraits. What the...? Her curiosity just went through the roof by this. Another professor entered the room and Paige figured they were ready to start this. She was right too.

Her green eyes locked onto the Headmistress as she began to speak. Her brow furrowed with confusion. What's been going on that I don't know about? A fog? In the middle of the castle? Now that was strange indeed. For a brief second she thought about asking a question, that was until Professor Schwartz looked sternly at her and Sy. She issued them both a warning that scared the hell out of Paige. Probably more then it should have. The wide-eyed girl just nodded, unable to find the right words.

At the professor's next words, Paige listened in disbelief. How could no one else know about that? Was it a cover up? She wanted to find someone who knew Hogwarts history well, but remembered she wasn't allowed to talk about it to anyone. Well anyone except Sy and that wasn't going to happen. As soon as the Headmistress finished explaining another teacher stood up. Paige felt a little faint at the woman's words. A mist that could randomly appear and scare someone that bad? She had a feeling prefect rounds should be cut shorter at night. A list began to form in Paige's head of things needed to be done.

[Rafael Ochoa]

Ochoa didn't feel as though the atmosphere was conducive to talking as he entered, so he remained silent after his tentative 'good evening'. He watched the Head Girl walk in, followed by the Head Boy, neither of whom he had any strong feelings towards--Miss Lucas had quickly proved to be unlike her family, and Mister Gaunt had never actually appeared on Ochoa's radar.

He listened, when the time was right, to the Headmistress start in on the meeting. When she said she was going to elaborate on what was going on lately, Ochoa's back straightened the slightest bit and his senses focused. This seemed to be rather serious, after all, so Ochoa would take it as such.

He certainly would not have threatened the Head Boy and Girl, as Ochoa thought that it was better to have the respect of his students than the fear of them, but this wasn't his ship to run, so he said nothing. Ochoa's eyebrows, however, raised slightly as the explanation went on. Then they stayed up as Eva added her piece.

"I can only imagine there's more to cover," Ochoa said, speaking directly to the Headmistress.

[Rosemary Dubois]

Rosemary yawned and looked around at the teachers. Why couldn’t they do this little meeting in the Teacher’s Lounge? Not here. Rosemary wanted some piece and quiet. Some shut eye would be a great idea. She had been pacing and talking to the other portraits lately and she was just physically drained. But if Adrian really wanted her to be here and talk, then might as well pay attention.

Sitting up right and putting on her fake smile, she started to listen in closely to what Adrian was going to say. Was it about some missing supplies? Cutting out Hogsmeade? That would be great! The children need to study more. These days, they give them more free time then what they are used to. Sometimes she wished she could run the school more. It would be a lot more strict than what it is now. That Doloris Umbridge was a great leader! Hearing the door open, it was another damn professor. He came late. What the hell… it’s a meeting, he shouldn’t be late.

Rosemary started to slump in her chair a bit, falling asleep. She had heard this so many times… the fog… something about the missing students… her journal… her journal?! Rosemary popped her head up. She hoped Adrian didn’t read them out loud. Yes, she only let Adrian look at it, but she didn’t want the other people here to find out it too. What you call rude, but she had heard that there was a ghost child roaming around here. Great, Rosemary would need to find him to shut up his mouth

Rolling her eyes, ”Yes, your majesty.” Rosemary said in sarcasm. Popping out of her portrait and as a ghost, took her place next to Adrian. Hearing the unhappiness in Adrian’s voice, Rosemary looked to her. ”Well, there are tons of them. It could have been anyones!” It was true. So many past Headmasters and Headmistresses left journals behind. Rosemary thought she put it in a great spot… obviously not… she should have burned it when she had the chance to do so. Now for the ghost. She would need to find him pronto.

Rosemary listened to this one professor… guessing it was Eva… said what she thought about it. Of course the ghost would be mean and terrible. It was locked up and they had died. Wouldn’t she be mean and terrible too with anger if she was locked up? Yes, she would. Rosemary would be too, but she can do mean all on her own. No dieing needed to be done. Rosemary watched all of the professors faces. She didn’t want to speak unless spoken to. Its not that she didn’t want to put her opinion in, its just she was so sick of this talk about it.
