Never say never. (Anabelle)

[black] Matthew sat in the classroom finishing extra credit. Transfiguration was one of this best classes and he put the blood and sweat into it. He had to anyways. It was probably one of the hardest subjects in all of Hogwarts. His teacher would always explain to him how many branches of Transfiguration there were. Matthew was always fascinated by it, he had planned on after Hogwarts taking farther studies in Charms, Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts. They were all required to work in the Ministry, it would change once the Dark Forces took over, but still one never knows.

Waving good-night to the professor, Matthew walked out the door heading down the hallways to the Ravenclaw Tower. Walking down the hallways, Matthew saw how dead everything was. Given it was roughly ten-thirty at night, most kids were in bed anyways. Matthew was excited heading back to the Tower. He had a late night date with his girlfriend Anabelle, even though everything was a secret and they were just "hanging out", it was still their date.

Getting changed into jeans and teeshirt, Matthew went back down to the empty common room. Pulling out his wand, he lit all the candles, and got a bottle of sparkling cider from his manor. Making sure everything was perfect, he started heading up the stairs going to Anabelle's dorm room. Clearing his throat he knocked on the door, [white]"Miss Anabelle, do you want to join me?"[/white] He said softly in his semi-thick Italian accent hearing a few giggles coming from the other end of the door.[/black]

[Anabelle Evans]

Anabelle had been reading when Matthew had knocked on her door, already dressed in a white ruffled skirt and pink v-neck top. Despite it being so late, and it being a Sunday, her dorm girls were up and about, wanting to be around when Anabelle left to say their goodbyes. It was rather sweet, seeing as they were Ravenclaw's and put studies first on most occasion.

Taking time to finish her page, and to then set her book down, Anie noticed how quick the other girls were at jumping to the door, their heads full of thoughts as to why Matthew would ask for Anabelle. The fifth year knew why, yet she wouldn't say. Matt was still with Candi, and so their relationship was a bit taboo. Not to mention that she and Matthew had a history of hating each other in the past, something that if baby Seth wasn't in Ana's belly right now, would still be a strong feeling between the two.

As for Landon, she had broken up with him just a few days ago, and she wasn't the least bit concerned(they had ended in a fight, and so right now, Anabelle wasn't on speaking terms with the boy). Hopping out of bed, she slipped on her grey boots, sliding into her grey cardigan before walking to the door, opening it a bit so that just her face was visible. "Give me a few moments, please." She shut the door again, then turned to her roommates. "All of you, to bed. I'll talk with Mr.I-Think-I'm-Better-Than-Everyone, and then be on my way. Besides, you all need sleep for tomorrows classes." As soon as this was said, everyone exchanged their good-byes, grudgingly crawling into bed. Anabelle didn't usually have such power over people, but after Quidditch Captain says she'll have to resign, and leave for the rest of the year, those around her want to be as close as they can, at least for a little while.

When everything was settled, Anabelle clipped her bangs up with a white and pink bow, then exited her dorm, giving Matthew a small smile. "I hope you don't mind, but everyone in there still thinks I hate you."

[black] Matthew looked around the area. Waiting for someone to reply. Hearing the giggles Matthew could only grin a little. Him and Anabelle had such a hated relationship at first, but things kind of changed. Suddenly the hatred changed to something more compassionate. Maybe it was the fact that Anabelle was pregnant? It couldn't of being, Matthew would of called her a whore, or a slut or something. But he felt sympathetic for her, he felt more then sympathetic, in a loving way. He was upset that she was pregnant, but he wanted the kid to be his sort of speak. It was a guy thing, they wanted to help support the girl but wished the kid was theirs. But, even if the kid wasn't his, he wanted to help raise it.

Seeing her face quickly, Matthew smiled. Nodding, he continued to wait. Sighing a be he leaned against the wall thinking more. Dark Forces. She was a founding member, would she still be in the group during her leave? It wasn't honestly like she had a voice in the group, but she was still a founding member.

Humming to himself, Matthew thought of Candi. Sighing. He rubbed his temples. That was confusion in three and a half shots. Matthew and Candi had decided to start seeing each other but Candi had suddenly disappeared. Way to play with a mans emotions. Matthew had tried to keep the relationship, but he can't keep to a relationship if the person wasn't there. Plus he started hanging around with Anabelle, like that added. He felt bad for Anabelle. She had asked him to dump Candi before starting anything new with her, but he couldn't dump her. He'd want to do it in person not my letter.

When Anabella finally came out, Matthew smiled making sure the door was shut and nobody was around before putting his arms around her waist kissing her lips softly, tasting her sweet lips. Smiling he shrugged. [white]"People think I still hate you but I really don't anymore..."[/white] He whispered softly into her ear walking her down to the semi-romantically Common room. [white]"Thought you wouldn't mind a little snuggle time tonight."[/white] He smiled kissing her nose softly. [/black]

[Anabelle Evans]

As soon as she was outside her dorm, alone with Matthew, she was pulled into an embrace with him, the much taller boy planting a kiss on her. Anabelle gave him a sweet smile, though she was a bit worried. What if people snuck a peek from her dorm? Or someone randomly popped out of nowhere and saw them? Goodness that would be dreadful! Watching him with full attention, she crinkled her nose-more out of amusement than anything- at his comment. “Really? That’s so exciting, hm?” Grabbing his hand, she walked down to the Common Room with him.

The room was lit only by the fire and the moon. Thank goodness for the fire, or else Anabelle would be clinging onto Matthew, due to the moon giving off an eerie light. Moving quickly to the fire, she sat herself down on the couch nearest to it, kicking her legs up to rest by her side. Hearing his snuggle-time request, Anabelle bit her lower lip, patting the spot next to her. “Be my guest.”

[black] Matthew felt Anabella grabbing his hand. Smiling they headed down. He enjoyed being with her, there was just the constant fear of somebody walking in on them. They were known for the pure hatred they had for one another, and suddenly they were kissing, and holding hands? People would defiantly talk about it. But, if somebody did walk in on them, Matthew was pretty decent with memory charms. It was kind of dangerous, and entertaining. Secret lovers.

Seeing Anabelle nearly run to the couch, Matthew chuckled a bit. [white]" A little afraid are we?"[/white] He smiled moving her legs sitting beside her, gently placing her legs on top of his lap. Covering the two up, Matthew wrapped his arm around Anabella sighing, his hand laying gently on her stomachs. Matthew kind of figured that she was going to be leaving soon. Sighing, Matthew kissed her neck softly looking at her. [white]"Why not stay at my house...? You'll be safe, you'll have me and Buttons and Bella is welcome to visit as much as she wants."[/white] Matthew said gently looking at her speaking softly.

Anabelle shot him a look when Matty laughed at her. Not her fault! The Common Room was just a tad creepy at times, and this night was one of those times. A small smile on her lips when he joined her, repositioning her own legs to rest on top of his lap, his arms on her belly. She snuggled up close to him, resting her head on his shoulder as she watched the fire. "Don't make fun of me. Not everyone can walk through fire and come out without any burns on them." She teased, crinkling her nose as her smile turned into a smirk, almost sneering at him, yet, not.

At the request of her staying at his house, she shook her head, closing her eyes. "You know that isn't possible. My father surely already believes me to be a harlet, and my mother would be worried sick. I need to be home to calm my mother's heart, and to deboggle my father's brain about how I could have possibly changed from a well-behaved young girl, to an impregnated whore." Anabelle sighed, wishing she hadn't come clean like that to Matthew. Sure, they were together now, and secrets weren't good, but she liked to keep things like that to herself. She was practically putting herself down, which was something she didn't want to show him.

Matthew held Anabelle closely. Smiling he chuckled a bit at her statement. [black]"Such a silly girl you are Anabelle. And I hate using the Floo network.[/black] Matthew stated. He hated traveling by Floo powder. It was terrible. He'd rather Apperate. He did very good during the lessons when they were being taught and from then he was a pro at it. Rubbing her belly lightly, Matthew smiled. To be honest he was excited to be Seth's father. Even though Matthew wasn't the biological father. Nobody had to know. To actually have a child to his own with Anabelle. He smiled at the thought.

Sighing. She declined his request, but for a better reason. Matthew understood. [black]"Mhm... I guess their right. You should be with your parents. It would probably be best that way. Plus I can visit you when ever I can. And Seth."[/black] Matthew smiled kissed Anabelle softly on the neck, his hands on her belly as he snuggling with her more.

Anabelle couldn't help but laugh hysterically at his retort. Floo Network? She wasn't talking about that! No, she meant literal fire. As in, not everyone was as strong as Hercules and could conquer whatever world they wanted. Whatever. She wasn't going to explain it to Matthew. She knew how he did not like being corrected. No Ravenclaw did.

As Matthew rubbed her belly, Anabelle couldn't do anything but smile weakly, hopes and dreams crashing just like they had done so before when she first figured out she was pregnant. It wasn't something she currently enjoyed; being pregnant. What she did like, though, was that she was going to have a baby. Anabelle just wished it could be like the Muggle stories: babies came from birds that just dropped them in at night, hassle-free. Then she wouldn't have to drop out of school, and any possible humiliation would be erased.

Her thoughts evaporated when Matthew spoke again. "Yes, you definitely can."

[black] Smiling Matthew kissed Anabelle on the head gently. Resting his head on top of her Matthew held her close in a loving yet protective way. He cared a lot for Anabelle, things had definitely changed since they first met. Who knew a quickie would change everything. That's the slight twist. Matthew and Anabelle hated each other in the beginning of the school yet, and know they are together. Go figure. And now he was going to help raise Anabelle's child. Funny how things work out. But Matthew was happy with it, he wished the boy was his but either way he'd love the boy no matter what.

[white]"So you're leaving tonight right?"[/white] Matthew asked looking into the fire pit in twinning his fingers around hers. Matthew had being told that Anabelle was leaving to live with her parents until the baby was born. He wished he could be with Anabelle everyday helping her out but he understood where she was coming from. Plus, Matthew had studies. N.E.W.T's were around the corner and they determined his future. Muttering softly in Italian to himself snuggling close with her.
