-Character History-
Christian was born to parents Sampson and Elizabeth of Woodfield Manor just outside of London. He was the apple of his parent’s pureblood-ed eye. Their only child and a son to boot. He was raised with those old pureblood values…he was supposed to be better than everyone else. His father had been a Slytherin during his years at Hogwarts and his mother a Ravenclaw. He was supposed to grow up and follow in his parents footsteps, preferable become a Slytherin and follow the Woodfield family tradition. He was supposed to do a lot of things. That was until he turned 11. He had received his letter from Hogwarts whilst on a family holiday at the holiday home in Spain.
The day after he had received his letter, he and his mother went down to the beach to do what people do at beaches, sit on the sand and dabble their feet in the water. They were at the water’s edge for barely ten minutes when his mother Elizabeth spotted a young child struggling beyond the break. She gave him her wand and her belongings and told him to stay put, she was going to help the child. She swam out but the waves had become too strong for both her and the young child and they drowned. Rooted to the spot Christian couldn’t move, he couldn’t even run for help. He stood in that spot wishing that the wand in his hand would work for him and bring his mother back. It didn’t. And it couldn’t.
He and his father returned to England from Spain, their housekeeper Yelena and her daughter Catalina followed. “Too look after you.” His father had said, but it was clear that after a year Yelena was there to look after more than just Christian. He attended his first year of Hogwarts determined to learn enough magic so that what happened to his mother would not happen to him. He decided, on that train ride to the castle that he would be as brave as her, he would try and make a difference to people, make their lives a little brighter. He ditched the pureblood ideals his father had taught him, just as his mother had done for that child.
His father was not impressed with the new and improved Christian which has led to their being a strain in their relationship, not to mention in his third year of Hogwarts not only did his father marry the Spanish housekeeper Yelena but her daughter Catalina started at Hogwarts, a constant reminder to the fact that his father could forget his mother so quickly, something he could not accept. Now in his sixth year at Hogwarts he is looking to make a future for himself.

Sample RP: “Christian, you know I will always look after you. And now I can do it as your mother.” Her heavy Spanish accent and strong flowery perfume made Christian feel sick. He smiled at his new step-mother and began to walk away from the couple. He couldn’t bear to look at that woman in the white lace dress. He strode from the ballroom of his family’s manor and out into the dark garden. The cold air stung at his face and the snow crunched under his feet. He couldn’t believe his father. It had only been three years since his mother had died. He couldn’t be over her that quickly, could he?”
Christian stared up at the sky. It was cloudy, there were no stars in the sky. Nothing. He felt something cold and wet touch his hand and he jumped slightly. It was the nose of Cheeky, the English springer spaniel dog his mother had kept as her pet.
“You miss her too huh Cheeky?” He said ruffling the dog’s ears. He could feel a tear slip down his cheek, he wished he was more manly than this but at that moment he felt like the scared little boy back on the beach. He tried to push the feeling away from him but it wouldn’t leave. Cheeky leant against his leg as he stared out across the garden as if to say it was okay to feel that way because she did to. He began to laugh slightly, his hand resting on the dog’s head. Maybe his mother hadn’t left after all.
