Detailed Personality :

anastasia, or ana, as she prefers to be called is mostly your average teenager, besides the fact that she is a witch of course. she's very friendly, kind of talkative and very personal with the people she knows. ana loves spending time with people and she remembers what her friends and family like and what they don't. ana's friendly, but it's hard for her to accept new friends sometimes, because she's already very close to the ones she has, but she's generally nice to most people.

a lot of the time, ana thinks she is unstoppable. when she sets her mind to something, it's rather hard to talk her out of it. a lot of the time she's rather stubborn, she really doesn't like being told what to do, but knows to respect authority; at least most of the time that is.

ana is like a bear, she is very protective. nothing will happen to her friends or family with her around, she won't let it happen. she's very attached to the ones she loves and would be devistated if something happened to them so she protects them best she can. she also doesn't appreciate people touching her things unless she says they can and often times hoards stuff away, wanting to save it or not let someone else have it.

ana might seem overprotective, but she's very much a risktaker. she bold and rash, and will do whatever she pleases. she's also not a very girly-girl type of person and isn't afraid to get hurt or dirty. she's also very brave and ambitious, she's not bossy but she likes being on top and having an advantage over other people.

despite being stubborn, ana gets decent grades. she doesn't like making her parents upset when she gets bad grades, so she always tries to get the best grades she can, even when the teachers annoy her half to death. sometimes though, she can't stand her teachers and skips class, but only on occasion.

ana also has a great sense of humor. she loves jokes or pranks and will often laugh about something that happened a week ago. sometimes she's the prankster and enjoys fooling people. her great memory also makes it easy to prank someone or remember another way to duke someone out.

-Character History-

ana's history is very complicated and really starts with the night her great-grandparents died. that was a historical night. that night the infamous lord voldemort killed lily and james potter, but was unable to kill their son, harry. he left him with a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt. he would forever be known as the boy who lived. years later, harry would eventually destroy lord voldemort, saving the wizarding world from disaster.

harry had three children, james, albus and lily. albus would eventually become anastasia's father. albus was sorted into gryffindor and grew up in a wizarding family, happy. he met his future wife, amalia macmillan when he was fifteen. they got married and on january twenty-first anastasia, their oldest child was born.

there was a problem, though. albus's older brother james thought all of harry's grandchildren should have a different last name to avoid publicity. albus refused. he said that his children should keep the name potter, it was honorable, they were to be the grandchildren of one of the greatest wizards who would ever live. so, albus's children carried the family name while james's daughter, sophia bore the last name lee.

growing up was somewhat hard for ana. when she met a wizard or witch for the first time, their eyes would widen when they heard ana's last name. people would flatter her, trying to become friends with her, but ana wasn't stupid. they just wanted to meet her grandfather. this was a problem for most of albus's family, so they decided to move to a muggle town and go to muggles schools until they went to hogwarts.

the potter kids weren't totally oblivious to the wizarding world though. their family kept in touch and ana's parents taught them a lot about wizarding things and ana's parents used magic in the house often when they didn't have muggle guests.

no one but ana can really remember when ana's first magical talents appeared. ana was at muggle school, getting annoyed with the teacher as usual. ana was angry at something and all of a sudden the teacher disappeared, just like that. a few hours later some of the school's janitors found the teacher in a closet with the door locked.

just like most children of wizarding families, ana was expecting her hogwarts letter and was very excited to get it. upon arrival at hogwarts, ana was sorted into gryffindor. her family was very proud of her, they all having been gryffindors themselves.

in her first couple years at hogwarts, anastasia make a lot of friends and a couple enemies as well. ana doesn't get along with everyone and tends to upset some people.

as well as making friends, she was also discovering the castle. by the time she was in her fifth year, ana knew her way around the castle and which ways would get you to your destination quickest. she also had discovered a few of the many secret passage ways that the house elfs had taught her. she loved the elfs a lot and discovered them one day when she was exploring the castle. the elfs also seem to enjoy ana. ana doesn't persistantly ask questions like some of the other students at hogwarts, so they appreciate her a bit more.
