Marushka was born in a average family, they werent rich they were simple. She lived in America and grew up with her Metamorphmagus mother, her father always worked but she didnt mind. Marushka was a happy child. She herself took after her mother and went through a 'white' stage. She went to a muggle primary school because her mother thought it would be character building. So up till she hit 11 she learned like the muggles did.
Her mother had gone to Hogwarts where she met Marushka's father at a dance, the Triwizard Tournament. She wasnt a competitor and neither was he but the two hit it off right away. So Marushka's mother thought that Hogwarts would be a more suitable environment for her daugther, that and it was just closer to their home in America.
Once she got to Hogwarts at 11 she started to feel more comfortable with her own body, assuming that was due to the fact she was now around other Wizards and Witches. Her Metamorphmagus skills took a back seat except when entertaining her new found magical friends.
Her 7 years where the best of her life, all but a small fall she took during a flying lession never picked it up again. She wasnt into sport either or extra curricular activities. She simply went along doing her work, studying alot when she wasnt going out with the girls. The one thing though that got on peoples nerves was her over protective mothering nature. She wouldnt let the girls drink or have sex, of course it didnt stop them especcially towards the end but she always made her views strong. She entered and left school a virgin.
When her hogwarts years finished Marushka had become a strong willed beautiful women and found she liked herself like that. Thats when she met him. Her devil in disguise. Marushka vowed never to turn into such a sap again. This was the first man ever to touch her, to love her and she didnt know how to handle it, especially when he got rough. The violence started on their third annaversary when he came home and had forgotten. Adding to the presure the two had been trying to consieve but hadnt sucseeded. She couldnt have children. Marushka was so mad at him she walked out the door only to be drag backed beaten to a inch of her life and then raped. She had never known anger like she saw in her darlings eyes. After the first ordeal she appologized to him in a lump on the floor and he started to walk out, crawling like a fool towards him she gripped the leg of his pants naked and helpless begging him to stay and so he did.
Marushka was only twenty two. Eight years later and nermous beatings Marushka long cold finally snapped. When Ryan came through the doors of their home and yelled out abuse she walked out and told him she was leaving. Of course she knew this wouldnt go down well. But for the first time in ten years she stood up for herself. Became that women she was once before.
Well after that night alot of horrible times followed. The untimely death of her dearest husband, she didnt use the killing curse, no she used something far less fatile - a simple Flipendo charm. but he fell back off their two story house's balcony and leaded on a metal half pole.
It wasnt planned but from that moment on Marushka felt like a weight was lifted from her shoulders... she didnt mourn his death. She celebrated it...
Marushka got off on self defense and kept her job for the ministry for another ten years in Azkaban before transfering out and into the department itself as a detective type worker. Where she works now.

Marushka is a good person on the inside when it truely counts but on smaller things like breaking the rules she lets some things slide eg drugs or giving inmates (who earned it) a book to read or some chocolate. Never bad. Never has she done anything bad... not on purpose...
Likes/Dislikes: Marushka likes order and being in control of her surroundings. She likes it when people respect her and she believes shes earned it. Marushka likes the more secular item as well such as a fine aged wine, a dark chocolate sitting on the couch watching a nice chick flick on her television. She also likes reading in her spare time Jane Austen is a favorite for her. But Marushka always believed in woman pride. Marushka enjoys changing her appearance just for the fun of it in front of her mirror, just to see what she'd look like. You'd think she'd change her appearance to something more socially acceptable but that's her biggest like. Herself.
Its not all rainbows and unicorns with Marushka there is allot she cant stand. Those who believe in blood purity strongly and without seeing reason, even them she can stand but when someone acts out of there place and does something to enforce blood purity that's when she gets angry but there are reasons behind that. Marushka also despise being used. When she worked in Azkaban if someone seemed to be taking advantage she would make sure they got what they deserved. No one uses Marushka. Little things also annoy her, underage drinking, popping chewing gum, not showing respect and pig men.

Marushka can handle anything and go home as if it never happened, that's a strong point in her book. She can sleep at night after looking at a floating corpse tattooed 'Die mudbloods'. She was always strong in school, she got A+ in every subject. Minus flying. That broom never liked her. After a small small young Marushka was always to scared to get back on so never bothered getting into any sports. She was a gryffindor so when she gave up learning to fly she was teased slightly and that didnt help with her fear.
A real weakness of hers those would be The underdog, normally female. If you've got a good enough story she begins to feel sorry for you and that in a jail is a dangerous game to be playing. One of the reasons she left.
Whims/Habits: Marushka's biggest habit isn't a bad one, and only those who know her extremely well truly know this even exists but she always licks her top lip when annoyed. Without fail even when questioning someone and her poker face is believable that tongue will still slide over that top lip like clockwork.
Of course she has other things she does, her night routine never fails. She microwaves a dinner watches TV and goes to sleep. Other then those she is habbitless. Not counting when she worked in Azkaban.
Curtain wizards and witches Marushka showed mercy to, eg a young girl who was in for murder. She killed her father for attempting to rape her little sister. Marushka every Friday brought her a letter from her sister and a block of chocolate. Of course nothing comes free. But with the sap cases she tends to go a little bit more gentle. On the other hand the cold hearted murders who kill for the sake of killing get nothing... Not even for a price...

Her motto 'when your good to mama mama's good to you'. She works in the Department Of Magical Law Enforcement and used to be a guard at Azkaban so she knows how to be tough. Marushka is very witty, sadistic and hates being talked down to. That being said outside of work Marushka is somewhat of a good listener, a calm even gentle person. But at work that disappears. Unless she is questioning someone then it turns into a fake yet believable sense of trust.
