Adonia needed to go for a walk to clear her head. Ever since she had been back, her mind hadn’t been able to fully rest. With what happened before and stuff now. It was starting to take a tiny bit of a toll, but not too much. But she just needed the walk because it had seemed that her History of Magic paper was kind of making her lose her mind since she was really bad at that subject. The Salem Witch Trials had her thinking of what would have happened if it was happening in their world today? Maybe that was why they couldn’t be exposed to the Muggles. She just didn’t know.

Sticking her hands into the pockets of her jean shorts, Adonia looked around at the scenery. The grass was turning a mild yellow since summer was here. Adonia told her parents that she wanted to stay for her summer break cause she wanted to get used to the school again. It would be a change since she went home every year, but this time, she didn’t.

The wind was blowing on her dark blue tank top. It was pretty hot now, so it was good that she was wearing something comfortable. The shops had seemed to be busy with people in them, but Adonia had no desire about going into them. Maybe she would just sit down at a little table outside of a restaurant, order a cold drink and just relax, but for now, she just kept walking the streets.

"Well, lookee here," said Scot, in his thick Irish accent, approaching the younger Ravenclaw. "Don't I know you, stranger?" he asked, facetiously, with a familiar smirk on his face.

Since he had graduated, Scot had been dealing in his typical out-of-school behavior: debauchery, borderline alcoholism, fighting, wandering around aimlessly--a slightly strange one, compared to the rest--flagrant misconduct, debauchery, hijinks, screwing off, and, last but not least, debauchery. This was all off-the-clock, of course, which was not nearly as much as previous, due to his new venue of occupation: Auror (footnote: in training). He looked exactly the same as he had a few months ago, except now he was in casual dress, whereas at Hogwarts he seemed to perpetually be in the uniform, even if he was usually in some form of undress.

"How you doing, Adonia?" Scot asked, being less silly now that he had gotten his initial playfulness out of his system. He looked her up and down rather obviously, and then added: "You seem to have gotten prettier, if mine eyes do not deceive me."

Adonia was walking when a voice caught her ears, stopped and she looked up and seen that it was no one other than Scot Sola. Instantly, a smile came to her face. Looks like he was acting playful and Adonia thought she could be just as playful back. [black]”I don’t know, but those lips do look familiar.”[/black] She said with a laugh at the end of it. [black]”Hello, Scot.”[/black] She reached over and gave him a big hug. Adonia didn’t know that if he liked hugs, but he got one.

Sure, a while back, Adonia and Scot got a little… intimate. Kissing each other, which Adonia basically initiated it. Oh well, but he was one damn good kisser. She wondered why she hadn’t seen him at Hogwarts… thinking, she remembered it was the summer and Scot was now out of Hogwarts. She wondered what he would be doing with his life.

Hearing his question, but then his little added comment. Instantly, Adonia’s cheeks had turned red. Even though she had been gone for some time, she still wasn’t used to the compliments. she answered. [black]”I am doing better, thank you. And thank you.”[/black] She looked him up and down quickly, [black]”You still look the same. Handsome as always.”[/black] She said with a small laugh. It was true though, Scot was handsome and his accent was handsome too. Her German one was a little lighter now than it used to be, but still there. [black]”How have you been?”[/black]

Scot chuckled slightly at her comment on his lips, and returned the hug warmly. "You know, I get that all the time, makes me think that my lips aren't anything impressive." He sighed, dramatically, "ah well, I suppose I'll just have to make due."

His smirk turned into a grin when she turned red. She was clearly still very easy to make blush. "No need to thank me, I'm just tellin' the truth, you know. But thank you for the compliment, Lord knows that all I need is a bigger head," he said, with a chuckle. "I've been pretty good, graduated and all, now I'm busy training and when I'm not I'm off screwing around. Basically haven't changed much since Hogwarts, I'd say, except I live back in glorious Éire, which is a marked improvement. How about you? I didn't expect to see such a fine lass meanderin' about Hogsmeade when the summertime comes around."

Adonia giggled lightly, Scot having a bigger head is what the world would not want. He was so confident of himself, she thought. So filling his ego more would be something that wouldn’t be really good. [black]”Well, thank you for the compliment. It was nice.”[/black] Sure, Adonia had changed. She had lost thirty pounds from what had happened in the past, but staying at her mother’s, she had gained ten of it back which would mean there was still twenty more pounds to gain and you could tell Adonia was a little too skinny, but people thought she looked better. When Adonia looked in the mirror, she could tell it was a little unhealthy, but oh well. These days she didn’t want to eat at all, but she had too cause of the Healer at St. Mungos would go crazy.

[black]”Oh so that is why I haven’t really seen you at school. That is great to hear! What kind of training are you going through and where is Éire at? Never heard of it.”[/black] She asked as she started to walk more. Sure, it was nice to stand and chit chat, but Adonia didn’t feel like standing, she needed to walk; to do something. [black]”I also decided not to go home this summer. My parents thought it was best that I get used to Hogwarts again. But I do want to go home.”[/black] She said with a small shrug. [black]”What brings you to Hogsmeade anyways?”[/black] She asked as she kicked a small rock down the path.

"No need, lass," Scot said, in regards to her show of gratitude, "I don't need thankin' for something I didn't do, and I didn't compliment you because I was merely stating a fact." Scot had a very roundabout way of being what some women (and a few men) referred to as 'charming', but most realized he was outrageously devoted to one thing.

"You do look a little taller, though," he continued, "but that just might be those shorts havin' an effect on my eyesight. Forgive me," he said, smiling faux-apologetically.

He nodded. "I know, it must be a lot less fun without a mick like me around." He chuckled. "Auror trainin', of course, no other job would take me. As for Éire, that's the wonderful little island a few miles west o'here, my fatherland. You mighta heard of it, Ireland is what those damned English call it." One could only wonder how Scot conversed seriously.

"And the only thing that brings me here is fun, I got the night off from bein' a fancy Auror trainee and my intent is to get drunk good and proper. But I'm curious if you're doing alright, since you're all shut up in that old castle," Scot said, looking curious and a bit concerned.

Adonia now knew why she had kissed Scot in the first place. The boy… more like guy… was super charming. Just even the smile he wears was fabulous.

Scot said that she looked taller… but he said cause a comment about her shorts. Adonia kind of laughed and she turned red somewhat again. Adonia reached over and gave him a slight nudge with her hand, [black]”Oh be quiet. I haven’t grown since my fourth year. Plus, its too hot to wear pants obviously.”[/black] This was true, Adonia tried to wear pants one day outside and she started sweat like crazy. So shorts were the more reasonable choice for the weather like this one.

An Auror-in-training? Honestly, Adonia couldn’t see Scot as an Auror… actually, she didn’t what she could Scot be. Maybe a model? Adonia mentally laughed to that one, she couldn’t tell him that. Don’t need his head being any bigger. Plus, Adonia knew where Ireland was, she wasn’t that dumb. [black]”Its not that bad without you. Just a lot less entertaining is all.”[/black] She said with a smile to him.

Adonia smiled to Scot and shook her head. He was getting schnokered tonight. Well, it was his day off and he was the right age to drink, so why not? Then he asked how she was at the castle. With a shrug, she looked at him, [black]”Honestly, it has been about a week since I been back and so far it has been ok. Still uncomfortable, but ok.”[/black] Maybe Scot didn’t know that she was kidnapped, but she wasn’t going to talk about it. But if he asked, then maybe she would talk about it.

Scot laughed. "I agree, but I like pants, at least when it's convenient for me. You play your cards right and I just might take 'em off," he said, winking, "though I warn you, it's a terribly difficult process," he said, blatantly lying about his own promiscuity.

"Not that bad? Damn, and here I was hoping that my glory would only increase after my departure. Alas, it appears I was mistaken," he sighed greatly after this pronouncement, and then immediately acted as if the concept of sorrow had never crossed is mind.

"You're more than welcome to join me for a drink or plural, if you so desire. I certainly wouldn't mind being graced with the presence of a beautiful lass such as yourself. Hell, I'll outright enjoy it, if current trends are any indication," he said, smiling like an idiot.

"Good to hear," Scot said, which did little to reveal whether or not he was wholly aware of her kidnapping or not. Since he was, bluntly put, a bit of a stupid arse, he might have wholly missed that dramatic chapter in his final year at Hogwarts' history. Especially since he seemed rather oblivious to it now. Or maybe he was just not broaching it out of respect, who knew. Either way he was still a bit of an idiot. "If you'd like to talk to someone about how much fun summer Hogwarts is I'm usually open, even though I prattle on too much I can listen pretty good."

Adonia heard the comment from Scot about playing her cards right, she might get to take them off and right away, her face had turned beet red. This guy knew how to make her red a lot. Why was that? She hadn’t been able to blush since Ethan… was there a small crush that was developing? She didn’t want to know at the moment. Clearing her throat, Adonia said, [black]”No, its ok. You can keep them on.”[/black]

Smiling a little bit, Adonia patted Scot on the shoulder. [black]”Maybe your glory caught the eyes of other students and they probably miss you greatly.”[/black] Saying in a comforting voice, but with a hint of a smiling, joking way. Maybe Adonia’s words were right, maybe there was a kid who looked up to Scot and him being gone now would made someone sad.

Scot invited her to go for a drink with him and also called her beautiful. Her face again heated back up, but not badly. Her heart started to flutter like a humming bird was living in it… yep… there was that crush. Adonia would never dare to tell Scot that. She didn’t know how he would react to it. Plus, Adonia wouldn’t probably pursue him since he seemed like the guy who didn’t want girlfriends… more like one night stands… but that was her thoughts about him.

[black]”Sure, I can go with you. But I’m not drinking. Just some juice or something.”[/black] She started to walk down the path as she heard Scot talking. Nodding her head and smiling, she looked at him, [black]”Thank, I would like that, but right now its not really fun. I just wished I was with my parents. They are going back to Germany this summer like they always do… counting me, but I am here.”[/black] Adonia gave a small sigh. She always wanted to see her grandparents and looked forward to it every year, but not this year.

"If I must," Scot said, belabored, as if keeping himself clothed was a Herculean feat. He smirked at her as she patted his shoulder, and winked at her. "I can only hope anyone who missed me was as attractive as you, Adonia." He chuckled a little.

"Alright, fine by me, I can handle more than enough for the two of us, don't you worry your pretty little head. I'm quite the tank, what with my bloodline and all," he said. Full blooded Irish, after all.

He frowned when she said it wasn't fun up at Hogwarts. "Well that's just a cryin' shame, we clearly need to get Britain to be more fun for you, even if you are startin' to lose that wonderfully adorable German accent o' yours," Scot said, putting his arm around Adonia's waist and drawing her to him. "To the tavern, then, I'll get good and wasted and God willing I'll get you to have some damned fun tonight," he said, pointing towards the Three Broomsticks, and marched the two of them forward.

With all of the compliments, Adonia had turned a shade of red, but maybe she should start getting used to it because it was most likely in Scot’s personality to flatter a girl. If he did it again, Adonia would try her hardest not to turn red.

Adonia smiled when he had said that he could have some for the both of them. [black]”Oh yeah? Well, you know how the Germans are and their beer.”[/black] She said with a small laugh, [black]”If I was a big drinker, I could handle myself with the beer.”[/black] But Adonia wasn’t a big drinker. The only time she really drank was when she was in her bad stage earlier in the year. She had broken up with Matthew, which was kind of a nasty breakup, but her drinking had lead her to get back together with her ex-boyfriend, Ethan. That was when she stopped. But now since Ethan wasn’t really in the picture anymore, Adonia couldn’t still keep her hopes up that he would come back. Taking the mental scissors, she cut the hope like the thread of life.

Laughing, Adonia shook her head at Scot, but the second that he grabbed her by the waist, pulling her closer to him, Adonia’s heart started to pound. She was worried that he could hear it, it had seemed that loud. Carefully breathing in and out, so Scot didn’t notice, she saw him point to the Three Broomsticks. Adonia couldn’t remember the last part he had said.

Walking into the Three Broomsticks, Adonia saw one of the waiter’s point to a table near the corner of the place. Heading there, she moved away from Scot, making her way to one side of the table. Sitting down, she had ordered a Pineapple Juice and then looked to Scot. [black]”What are you going to have? An Irish Car Bomb?”[/black] She said with a little laughter in her voice. Since he was Irish, she thought she could have a little fun with the drink selection.

Scot laughed heartily at Adonia's sudden reddening of the face, and then nodded at her proclamation. "But the catch is, of course, 'if', and forgive me if I prsume too much, but I don't believe you're the big drinker, even for a sexy German lass like yourself, Fräulein Adonia." He winked again at her, being about as subtle as his infamy led one to believe.

He glanced at her as they walked towards the Three Broomsticks, noting her silence and taking it as either of the obvious dichotomic choices: either she was so worked up that she was having trouble processing how outrageously suave this Irish bastard was, or, alternatively, she was so offended by his touch that she was going into a state of shock such that he might need to resucitate her. Scot was positive he'd get his lips on hers either way, but he was rooting for the former option.

Scot raised an eyebrow at Adonia's suggestion, but did not seem too bothered by it. "An Irish car... bomb?" he asked, curious. Scot, being an actual Irishman, hadn't the slightest idea what the drink was. But he had never directly experienced the Troubles himself, so he didn't take nearly as much offense to it as the next Irishman would. But, the reason the Irish Car Bomb never took off as a drink in Ireland was most likely due to the fact that the term meant a literal car bomb, which tended to kill a great many people about a hundred years ago.

"Never heard of it," Scot said, diplomatically, "sounds like a rather grim drink, though, I can only imagine it hurts something awful."

Once Scot said that he had never heard of an Irish Car Bomb before, she basically dropped her jaw. Well… she didn’t know what bloodline Scot was. If he was A Pureblood, then that would explain why but if he was a Muggleborn or even a Half-Blood, like herself, Adonia would have thought this young wizard would know what it is. Plus, he was a drinker.

[black]”Ok, what it is, its basically a beer cocktail. You have a Guinness stout, Irish whiskey and Irish Cream. You put your stout into a cup while the whiskey and the cream are in a shot glass. You need to drop the shot glass into your cup and then chug down the beer. You have to do it quickly because I believe it will curdle.”[/black] Adonia couldn’t remember if it would curdle if it took too long to drink… but maybe it was a good thing that she had said it. Better safe than sorry.

The bartender came up and gave Adonia her Pineapple Juice and then looked to Scot to see what he was going to get. For some reason, Adonia wanted a cocktail. Maybe a Sex on the Beach, but she didn’t want to drink and she didn’t want to go back into that phase again. It was something she needed to put behind her and move on from it. Maybe the next time she would have a drink is when she got married and that would be a LONG time before that happened.

"Ah," Scot said, "intoxication I think I'm quite well equipped for that, ain't I?" He smiled. "Though it does seem a shame to waste such good liquors on it, but alright," he said, and turned to the man who tended bar and asked for "what the lady refers to as an Irish Car Bomb, my good man," and waited eagerly for such an assault on his sobriety.

In the meantime, however, he turned to Adonia, and smiled genially. "But while I wait, I think I'll be quite pleased with the countenance of this beautiful young German lass I have before me, if you don't mind," he said, as if it were still up for debate.

"And on the subject of things you don't mind, would it be too presumptuous of me to ask why you don't drink?" Scot put forth, "because I could probably sit around all day taking guesses but since most people I know back home partake, I'm just a little bit curious."

Adonia took small sip of her juice as she watched the waiter go and order Scot’s drink. Her juice was really sweet, the way she liked it. She hated it when her drinks weren’t really sweet. It just made everything bland.

Flattering her once again, Adonia thought she could speak her mind about it, [black]”Why do you keep calling me beautiful? I know I’m not. I am just average. Look at me. I am way too skinny, my face is a little sunken in… I just look horrible. Im sorry.”[/black] Adonia wasn’t being rude about it, she was just stating facts, but plus she was just curious was all.

I start kissing people which leads to sex and also I stripped. It was bad. I slept with my best friend on his birthday and we were both really drunk.”[/black] She took a big breath… but then she realized that she wasn’t suppose to tell anyone about it. With wide eyes, just looked to Scot, [black]”Just don’t say anything to anyone about it. I wasn’t suppose to tell anyone.”[/black] She felt like a fool now. Now just sitting there, stirring her drink with her straw, looking at Scot.
