Adonia turned red and laughed a little when he said she was adorable. [black]”How?”[/black] Did she say something that was cute? Thinking back, she didn’t know. All she was doing was talking to him. He was interesting to talk to. A total flirt, but it was fun.

"'Doing it'?" Scot said, "I thought you were a seventh year, I haven't said doing it since before I kissed a girl," he added, with another chuckle.

"Oh, I can handle your magic, alright, lass," Scot said, leaning forward, grinning as if they were playing some sort of game. He winked again. "I'll handle it real good."

"Would you be the type of girl I would hook up with," Scot said, and took another drink, as if to forestall the inevitable. "Yeah, I'd say so. You're fun to be around and you're fuckin gorgeous, so I'd be after you if I thought you were that type of girl," he said, quite honestly. He had been very unwilling to try to put it in her when they ended up making out in that empty classroom because she was one of the girls that gave off the 'doesn't fuck around' vibe that Scot found so unusual. He liked easy girls too much.

Nodding her head, Adonia ordered another juice, but this time it was pumpkin juice. She loved that one also. [black]”Oh ok. Was just wondering.”[/black] She said with a shrug of her shoulder and saw the waiter bring her juice. Adonia said thank you to him and then took a small sip. Refreshing. Again, Scot laughed when she said sex so quietly he would not have even known had he not been paying proper attention to the conversation. "Ah, yes, well, I think that's adorable, lass."

Scot smiled when she pecked him on the cheek, and then sat back again, looking rather cocksure.

"Quite alright, I wonder about myself all the time," he said, in a rather out of character sort of manner, nontheless retaining his Irish bravado. He smirked at her, looking slightly like he had taken her statement and flirty look as a challenge.

"Alright, lass, if you think that you're such a difficult case to crack then I take that as a formal challenge." He polished off the whisky bottle, and placed it down on the table, the glass clink making it sound quite empty as it was. He smiled at her and raised his hand for another. Scot was not one to take such challenges lightly.

Maybe Adonia would have one more drink. It wouldn’t hurt anything. Looking around, Adonia found the waiter and ordered a drink with juice and Malibu Rum. The waiter nodded and took off. "I don't know, at least not yet, I'm sure I'll let you know when I do, however," Scot said, accepting his second bottle of offensively powerful alcohol. He opened it and took another healthy swig, and smiled, folding his arms on the table.

"Damn right you'll let me take it on," Scot said, chuckling. "Otherwise God knows what I might do. Probably be crushingly disappointed by myself."

"Sounds like a plan to me," he said, raising his own glass with her. "Once I win I'll make sure you show me some of your fancy fuckin' magic," he said, smiling and putting the emphasis on the euphamism, as he had earlier. He raised his bottle to his lips and drank. He considered tonight to be a roaring success already, he was pretty well on his way to being out of his head and he was sitting with a pretty girl and flirting rather heavily with her.

Adonia laughed, [black]”Well, if I win, your just going to see the magic I am capable of doing.”[/black] She said with the raise of her eyebrow as she drank to his challenge… it was on now. But Adonia knew that she would break easily, it was pretty hard to get through to her. From the sound of it, it was the easy women that he went after, but Adonia wasn’t easy as the others. If he wanted to sleep with her… he would need to work really, really hard at it. She is one tough cookie.

Setting down her drink, Adonia leaned in and she could smell the whiskey he was drinking. [black]”How in the heck can you drink that stuff? It smells horrible. It probably smells as bad as it could taste.”[/black] She said with a crinkle of her nose and sitting back, taking another small drink of her juice.

A thought went through her head… should she try to lead Scot on? Like… make him want her? Tease him a bit to think that he would win the challenge? It was a tough bargain… but she wanted to see what he would do before she started to do anything. It was a little fun, but she wanted to see who would win… leaning towards herself…

"If you win?" Scot said, and scoffed, "if. Though I've half a mind to let you win and show me your fancy magic." Scot chuckled. He did traditionally go after, well, sluts, but it wasn't as if the only virginity trees he had chopped down with his meat axe were sluts.

Somewhere in the middle of that metaphor it struck Scot that he was ingesting large amounts of alcohol, and that it might have been beginning to affect him.

"I'm pretty well used to the taste," Scot said, "I don't know how you drink that, though," he added, gesturing to her juice, and then beginning to feel that familiar sensation in his brain that suggested he was intoxicated. This was good, at least in terms of his original goal, but this was bad, because he wasn't done drinking. To combat this sudden onset of mild inebriation he tilted the bottle to his lips and downed an obscene amount of what probably tasted like paint thinner, and then placed the bottle down, looking at Adonia, who thankfully retained her clear form, and had not become all fuzzy and wavy, like women sometimes did when he had been having a fun night.

It wasn’t mimicking, but it was a little teasing and having fun… hopefully she didn’t offend him. The only people Adonia really slept with were Ethan and then Athan… on his birthday. She had felt bad because she had been Athan’s first kiss and also his first time… she took his virginity. But she never regretted sleeping with him.

"Waiting and ready," Scot said, mock saluting. He thought her imitation was terrible, but then again he typically did, being an authentic accented Irishman and all. He did find it extremely funny, however, evidenced by the goofy entertained look on his face.

"Aye, that," he answered, faux-indignance on his face, and he leaned forward, taking another drink. He smirked when she asked to take a taste of it, and then shrugged a little bit.

"I wouldn't say I hog it all, so much as I put it away and keep it away from little girls like you who can't handle it," he challenged, playfully, and then placed the bottle before her, sitting up straight. "Be my guest, Adonia, but don't say I didn't warn you. It's strong and tastes a lot like paint thinner, so you might not like it." Scot knew that intimately, he very often had compared the two when he started drinking. At this point in his life he really had acquired a taste, and as such did not care any longer.

The smell made her nose crinkle a bit, since it seemed really strong. Then, putting the bottle to her lips, she lifted it until the strong alcohol hit her lips which went into her mouth. Adonia only put a little bit into her mouth… man, did it burn!! Adonia made a face and shook her head smally, like she had tasted something sour… but it was like what Scot had said, it tasted like paint thinner.

Sliding the bottle back to its rightful owner, Adonia frowned looking at Scot, but with a hint of smile playing on her lips, [black]”Your right… it does taste like paint thinner and boy, it burns when it does down. Also, you are right again, I don’t like it.”[/black] She said with a laugh. It was nice to see what Scot likes to drink… he likes nothing good. How much did he drink it anyways? All the time? Everyday? She didn’t know. [black]”Seems like only the really good looking guys go after the hard stuff.”[/black] She said with a wink his way.

"Really," Scot said, winking as she took the bottle. He leaned back, putting his arms up. He smirked as she crinkled her nose at it, and had a very good feeling he knew what was coming. Were he more sobered up he might be slightly concerned that she'd empty the contents of her stomach, but he was currently feeling no pain and foresaw nothing but the same look a person got on their face when they swallowed a cupful of horrid medicine.

"I told you," he said, reaching for the bottle with his right hand, "I didn't fucking like it either, when I started. I just kept doing it, and now I'm pretty alright with how it tastes," he said, taking another healthy swig and putting it down, "which is like paint thinner. Trust me, I tried some paint thinner once a few years back to check, and it tasted better. Fuckin' terrible, still, but better," he said, revealing a surprising bit of him being an idiot, were it a fact and not just a tall tale.

He grinned at her wink. "And all the pretty girls go for juice, it seems," he said.

While taking a sip of juice, Adonia almost spit it out. Why in Merlin’s beard would someone want to try paint thinner? Scot was a crazy person, in a good way though. Full of surprises. Putting down her juice, she gave Scot a strange look. [black]”Why would you want to drink paint thinner? Were you drunk? Was it a dare?”[/black] Now, this conversation was starting to get interesting.

Looking at Scot, she realized why hadn’t he had a steady girlfriend? He was obviously really good looking, some girls dig the Irish accent thing and he was a really cool person to talk to. This Ravenclaw girl never seemed to have a dull moment with Scot. He is just really an entertaining person to be around. Scot blinked a moment. Well, why indeed would he have wanted to do that. Something as noble as a dare? Lord, no.

"I weren't drunk," Scot said, "well, not terribly. I wanted to figure out if it did actually taste like paint thinner or not, and it did. Fuckin' don't try that shit, tastes horrendous and you'll probably throw up. Ruined a good hour of my evening, that did," he said, laughing at the memory. A wise man would note that Scot tended to do stupid things when inebriated.

He took another healthy drink of the whisky--which did actually taste better than paint thinner, but only because he had acclimated himself to it after so much time. He looked at her, and noted her slightly tentative expression on her face--the thoughts coming across slightly less eloquently--and considered the question for a moment, before he just shook his head.

"Nope," was his simple answer.

Laughing with Scot, Adonia shook her head, [black]”You don’t need to worry about me trying it. I will take your word for it that it tastes horrible.”[/black] The only thing that Adonia ever tried that was horrible was her potions she had to take. They tasted really bad. The nightmare potion and then the depression one. The depression wasn’t really that bad, but the nightmare one… it tasted like she was eating something alive, just disgusting.
