Mikayla is very skinny, but she doesn’t look like she is anorexic as she does have some curves to her. She wears a size 2. She is average height, 5’3”. She is known for wearing too much eyeliner, that sometimes makes her look like a raccoon. Her eyes are a strange shade of blue that give them a bit of a purple hew to them. She dresses goth/emo style but likes to relax in just jeans and a plain band t-shirt. She has snakebites (two piercings on her bottom lip on either side) and also has her eyebrow pierced. She gets frustrated easily, and when challenged, will not back down from a fight, even when it gets physical. She loves to know everything, about anyone and anything, so she can use it against people later. Her idea of fun is spreading rumors and holding knowledge over people’s heads, aka blackmail. She loves to talk to people, and tends to be a tremendous flirt, she is sometimes called a slut, but that doesn’t really bother her. She likes the attention. Even though people call her a slut, in her opinion she is more of a tease because she doesn’t give herself up that easily. She has a secret desire to give up her teasing ways and actually fall in love with someone for a change, or at least have a decent relationship with someone.
Mikayla is very curious which goes hand in hand with her desire to know everything about everyone. If there is something she doesn’t know, be it a spell or a bit of useless knowledge, it is never useless to her. As earlier mentioned, she is easily frustrated and when something gets too hard for her, a lot of the time she will probably give up rather than continue to try until she gets it right. That is what happened to her to make her hate Charms with a fiery burning passion. She just doesn’t have the patience to concentrate on the Charm and it almost always backfires on her, which is why she just stopped trying after awhile. However, there are certain times when she can actually perform the charms that she wants to do, and that is when she is around a guy that she actually has feelings for and is trying to impress them.
During her 7th year at Hogwarts though, her personality changed a great deal. She one day decided that she wanted to have some friends instead of everyone hating her for her gossiping ways so she decided to stop gossiping altogether and she made a few friends just because of that. The only things she really needed to work on was her almost hatred for anyone who wasn’t pureblood. But that all changed when she met the love of her life Kite Skeron, who happens to be muggleborn. Now, she would describe her personality as more friendly, more accepting, and less of a flirt for obvious reasons.

-Character History-
As earlier mentioned, Mikayla was born in Arkansas which is in the southern United States. It isn’t that often that you see large wizarding families in the US but that is because the rest of her family is rooted in Spain. Mikayla was raised like a normal pure blood witch however because her family is a noble pure blood family, she also grew up thinking that anyone who wasn’t pure blood wasn’t worth the time of day. In her family, if anyone were to marry a mudblood, they were written out of their family tree and never spoken of again.
Mikayla was born to Carlyle and Catrina Menki on February 29th, which means technically Mikayla’s birthday only comes once every 4 years, but she always celebrates it on the 28th just so she can have a party. Her parents were never really there for her as they both had very important ministry jobs that sent them away on trips for long periods of time. Mikayla spent a lot of time alone on their southern plantation style house with no one but a few house elves to keep her company. However, her parents taught her that house elves weren’t worth the time of day, so she wasn’t to make conversation with them.
The fact that she was lonely caused her to get in trouble a lot an make friends with the wrong crowd of people and even as early as elementary school, she was getting in trouble. She was kicked out of at least two elementary schools and once she turned 11 she got accepted to both The Salem Witches Institute and the American School of Witchcraft of Wizardry. In an attempt to control her behavior, her parents sent her to the Salem Witches Institute to keep her away from boys. She only lasted as long as her first year. From her second through third years, she went to the American Wizarding School and made a few friends there, but she got into some trouble at that school as well and once they were out of options, they sent Mikayla to Hogwarts for her 4th year where she was sorted into Slytherin.
At Hogwarts, she made a name for herself as one of the gossip queens of the school and got herself a reputation for being slutty, which in actuality, she really wasn’t, she just liked the attention. She has opened up to at least Half-bloods and doesn’t ask about blood status upon first meeting the person anymore, at least giving people a chance. However, most of the time if she finds out that the person is muggle born, she will cut all ties with the person and forget she ever met them.
Everything changed about her in her 7th year, when by some strange coincidence, she met the love of her life, Kite Skeron. She thought it was by some twist of fate that the two ended up meeting, but it turns out that they had met due to a clever set up by Kite’s once mortal enemy, Ezekiel Gage who was trying to make up for almost ruining both of their lives in the past. It turns out, Ezekiel had used Mikayla’s voice to erase Kite’s memories and the only way for him to get them back was for him to hear her voice. A year or so later was the day that the two of them met, cleverly set up by Ezekiel, but the two of them fell in love instantly. They are currently living together in Hogsmeade but looking for an apartment elsewhere.
Once she finished school, Mikayla had a hard time trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life when it dawned on her: She had always loved Herbology and there was an opening for a professor. Taking a chance, she applied and got the position and is now doing something she absolutely loves.
