A party just for the two.. (Adam)

((wow this was a lot 900 words almost ha sorry so long lmao I had a burst full of muse this morning and I wanted to do this))

It was Adam’s first time meeting Alyssa’s father she was quite nervous. She was getting ready upstairs in her room. Her father and step mother had been getting ready down stairs for the preparation of the party before the other guests arrived. This was her house in Ireland it was beautiful. The Lockwood’s had tons of money. This house would be the house that she would have after she graduated. Hopefully the two were able to spend some alone time as well. She hadn’t seen Adam since they had gotten home from school and she had missed him dreadfully. At least it was summer right? And hopefully her father liked Adam as well, he was a Slytherin at least. Adam was always so sweet, and kind he was never mean to her. He was the first boyfriend Alyssa ever had. Too bad that he had to meet Adam at a part and not just some normal family boring dinner.

Alyssa’s father always had to go all out. Even whenever he had his funeral for Caleb which was dreadful. Alyssa remembered that day clearly. Even to that day everything in Caleb’s room was still there just like he had it and her step mother always kept the door locked. Sometimes Alyssa would just go in there and sit and stair all the time before her step mother had locked the door. She figured it would be good for Alyssa to get out more after. She always had been so quiet and changed ever since. She was still surprised Adam was still with her after her faze that she was going through or is. She was getting a little better. She missed Caleb so much it was hard on her.

She felt bad for Adam for the occasion tonight because she knew he hated getting dressed up. But, Adam always looked so good. She invited his family to come along as well including his sister which hopefully wouldn’t be bad. She hadn’t met her yet but, from what Adam had told her to she was a little scared. Finishing deciding to get ready she put on her blue gown that her father had bought her just for the occasion and put on her accessories including her shoes, jewelry, and finishing her make-up which she had worn lightly of. Alyssa didn’t really wear to much make-up she didn’t want to look face she just wanted to look natural with a little bit of red lip stick just to add to touch herself up. Alyssa grabbed her wand and with a wave and slight flick of her wrist her hair was down, dried, and curled.

Alyssa’s father had called up to her and tried to get her to hurry up in the time being because, the guests were starting to arrive. Her stomach had been in knots. But, she knew once Adam had gotten there she would be ready and calmed down by then. Adam always had this touch about him that made Alyssa go weak in the knees for him. She couldn’t believe the feeling. Maybe this would be the night that she would tell him that she loved him. It would be the first. She hadn’t said it yet, she was rather scared and afraid. She didn’t want him to run away from her if she said it first. Alyssa could be so shy at times but, with him she could be herself.

Alyssa smiled at her reflection in the mirror and glanced out the window. There had been white tents and food tables set outside for the guests and down stairs in the main room where they normally had parties were decorations fabulous decorations her father’s and step mothers taste was slightly different they had style it was new but, the old fashion rich pieces. They always decorated for these and everything turned out beautifully and the food was delicious as usual. Alyssa was finally allowed to drink and she had been of age she had a glass of wine in her room and took a sip of the rest to finish it and calm her nerves.

She figured it was about time for her to go down stairs. She took a deep breath and fluffed her hair. She made her way out of her room gracefully and elegantly. She swiftly moved down the hallway and some reason Caleb’s room had been opened she stopped in the door way and looked in nothing seemed to be missing. She sighed walking in the room and felt a cold breeze go down her back. She shivered and hurried up and left the room she closed the door and locked it with her wand. She fixed the white gloves that she had on her hands and slipped her wand in a slit on the side of her dress. She finally got to the grand stair case and started walking down and made her way over to her parents waiting for Adam to arrive greeting people friends and family as they came through the door.

Adam hadn't figured out still what happened to his dad. At this point he accepted the fact that he was probably dead. He still suspected his Mother, Livi, to be behind it, it wasn't above her to kill he was sure of it though had no proof it was her or that she had ever done such a thing before. Kristal was being ever so nice to him and he still hadn't figured her out. They seemed to have an understanding that they didn't trust each other but they were being as neutral as the knew how to be. Some impossible way the school year ended and she had yet to have met Alyssa. Which he thought was for the best anyways. Kristal, he was sure would only try to find ways to mess with them anyways just purely out of boredom.

He hadn't seen Alyssa since the school year had ended. Adam went back to his Father's house to try to sort things out and search the house which he had done now too many times to count. He hadn't allowed Alyssa to his house not being sure how safe it was and between both of their schedules they hadn't been able to met up yet, and most of the summer was already almost gone. He missed her tragically so and was sad he couldn't be there for her, knowing that she was still dealing with her half-brother's death. He had stayed his distance from her letting her deal in her own way while she was letting him deal with his own drama.

Her family was throwing a party and had invited him and his family. He hadn't known what to do with the invite at first. He had decided to let Kristal come considering that they were on mostly good terms. As much as they seemed to hate each other over the years, actually getting to spend some decent time with each other over the summer they seemed to actually, well... get along these days. Maybe the ages they were now and the time that had passed seemed to be doing them some good. He wasn't sure or maybe Kristal was just using him as usual. He wasn't sure of her plan but he decided to go along with it maybe she was slip up somewhere. He was sure a 'nice' streak hadn't really come over her because she was too much Livi's daughter. But he was Livi's Son and two could play that tango.

He hadn't really been into the dressing up part but he found what would be considered dressed up for me and went with it. Black pants that looked like slacks and a nice black dress shirt and red crimson tie. It suited him well. He gave him a once over look in the mirror and decided it worked for him. He was sure the tie would come off within the first hour or two cause it was already annoying him. And the top two buttons needed to not exist as well. He pulled at the collar at the un-comfort of the whole thing. He wasn't sure why this was really necessary.

He arrived to her house shortly later and stood outside the front door for some time. He smiled up at the house as if this was going to be the best day of this summer, and he knew that would be true as he walked up to the door. He knocked rather hard to make sure they'd hear considering this was quite a large house, mansion really. The door opened and he walked in causally. He didn't want to be someone that he wasn't, not today. At the same time he didn't want her family to hate him neither. So he was sure there was a happy medium he didn't to go buy but still decided upon just being himself. He didn't do well in places to lots of people he didn't know especially considering the host was his girlfriend and knew many people would want to be meeting him. He tried to brush off the feeling of insecurity he was apparently manifesting. He was an arrogant, confident person yet right now he felt like he wasn't? Why did this girl change him so? Maybe he really did care.. way more than cared about her.

He saw her standing beside what she believed to be his parents. He smiled at the lot and walked towards Alyssa. He nodded towards the parents but he b-lined straight for her. She looked beautiful in every way like an angel. He hugged her tightly to him as if he hadn't done so in weeks, oh wait... he hadn't. It felt like forever before he could manage to let himself let go of her. He kissed her nose lightly and rubbed his hand across her jaw line. He looked into her eyes and knew he would be perfectly fine now. "Hello Sweetness, long time no see."

[Alyssa Lockwood]

Alyssa had been glancing around the room, mostly everyone had arrived except for that one special person she had been waiting for. It was getting rather boring just talking to her parents and her cousins she never really had gotten along with they were off doing their own thing. She looked to the door and sighed wondering where he had been or if Adam was even going to show up. Alyssa felt so nervous because, she didn’t want to look like an idiot. Finally the second time that Alyssa had looked at the door she had seen the one person that she wanted to. She wanted to run into his arms and give him a hug. Alyssa had missed him so much. The two had been rather busy all summer.

The blonde haired girl had a big smile on her face as he had arrived and walked in the door. But, he had been by himself? She looked at him curiously maybe he didn’t want to invite his mother or sister? She thought to herself. I mean this was a family party so she thought he would have brought them with him. But, with his father being gone and missing, maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea his mother didn’t come? She eventually wanted to meet his mother at some point. I mean she hadn’t even met his sister yet. Alyssa sighed at the thought right before he had walked straight towards her. She knew he was really uncomfortable being around a whole bunch of people but, he needed to get out of his own little bubble and that was what Alyssa was for.
Alyssa had given him a big hug as he had walked over and gave her one. She smiled brightly, it was like when you were a little kid and you were getting presents at Christmas and wanting to open them. Adam was like a big teddy bear to Alyssa. For being a Slytherin he actually did really have a heart and she loved that he had showed that to her. Alyssa could talk to Adam about anything she remembered the first time they had met up in the owlery and Alyssa was in her animagus form and making a complete fool in front of the two boys Cicero and Adam. She wandered what ever happened to her good friend. It was like he had just disappeared into thin air. Even his sister Candi I mean completely poof, gone? Everything was rather weird back at the school still she had a feeling but, she didn’t know what.

The girl had blushed and it made her cheeks turn a soft pink when Adam had called her sweetness and kissed her on the nose. She had loved that nickname he had given her. It was so sweet, she thought to herself. Her parents smiled at the two as they had glanced over. She was a little embarrassed but, she obviously didn’t care. Alyssa had giggled softly looking up at Adam after that. “I know it has been a while and I missed you. I want to introduce you to my parents especially my father the minister of magic now.” She told him. Alyssa took Adam’s hand and walked over to where her parents were talking to a few of their friends. Alyssa stood straight up like she had been taught to when greeting people and smiled. “I’m sorry to interrupt mother and father.” Alyssa spoke up but, softly tapping her step mother on the shoulder. It had been so weird calling her mother that lately she used to call her mother by her first name all the time. But, she had thought since Caleb had been gone maybe it was a good thing?

The two had looked at Alyssa and smiled and so did the rest of her family that had been standing there and a few of her father’s co-workers that worked under him. She paused for a minute or two nervously “I want to introduce you to my boyfriend Adam Reever.” She said looking over at Adam and smiling at him. He had been a Slytherin like the rest of the family. She hoped her father didn’t barge Adam with a million questions and make Adam run away. She laughed at herself in her mind at the thought. Alyssa’s father looked at Adam up and down and smiled and nodded at Adam. “Well Mr. Reever it is a pleasure finally meeting you. Alyssa here has told us so much about you.” He said. “I hope while you are with my daughter you are taking good care of her and no nonsense. I want the best for my little girl I hope you understand that.” He Said. He was a little intimidating at first but, once you got to know him he was rather a nice guy just very protective of his little girl. ”But, it looks like she had picked a pretty good guy. He said and smiled putting a hand out for Adam to shake. ”My name is Ashton Lockwood and this is my wife Gabriel.” He said and told Adam introducing himself.

[Adam Jasper Reever]

Adam's mind was in so many places over everything the last few months that getting to see Alyssa was exactly what he needed. Just being in the same room made his spirits that much more higher. Considering the hunt for his Father had all but made him want to kill himself. She was the relief that he needed. The comfort of her in his arms again made a smile so childish cross his lips that he kept like a kid in a candy shop. And it was the first time he had any good feelings in the past months that it was like he was alive again. Colors were so much brighter and the smells of the food in the other room made his tummy turn in hunger like he hadn't eaten in fews. Maybe he hadn't hardly after thinking about it.

"I've missed you too. It feels like years." He frowned at the thought. They were starting their last year at Hogwarts and it felt like he should be in his 5th year still. Her father was the Minister of Magic now? He definitely hadn't had any real world living in the past few months. He tried to seem nice and polite but he wasn't one hundred percent sure on how to do that. It wasn't really in his nature. As her parents turned her Father all but seemed to scope him with a fine comb at first glance. Adam saw the intimation but wasn't really scared by it. People in general didn't really scare him.

Her Father gave a small warning speech in which Adam smiled and gave a small chuckle. "Well Sir, that makes two of us. " He said to wanting the best for Alyssa. He smiled simply none the less and shook each of their hands firmly but not too firmly. He looked back over to Alyssa and took her hand in his. He kissed the top of her hand and smiled back at her. "Nice meeting you both." He said with a nod but his stomach was starting to Growl. He turned back to Alyssa, "Do I smell food?" He asked with a silly smile.

[Kristal René Reever]

Adam had given Kristal the heads up about this party. Something to do with his girlfriends family or something another. She hadn't really been to enthralled into going but as the day approached she found herself with nothing else to do. Plus the idea of getting to meet the girl that's changed Adam's use to be cold heart, was a bit of a intriguing idea. She needed to see what exactly had taken over Adam cause the Adam she use to know, was nothing of what he is now.

She picked together an outfit of pinks which was quite classy for her choosing. She arrived shortly after to the huge mansion of a house. Adam said he wouldn't be going with her that she could find her own way if she cared to come. They were getting along but not completely. It was whatever, she was getting close enough to him. She rolled her eyes and walked up the front. She opened the door and made her way inside. A little sure of herself she always was, especially wearing cute heels. Though guys don't really care about shoes but it was kinda like wearing cute underwear, it puts an extra bouncy smile in your step. And that boys do notice.

She spotted Adam near some Blond thing which she suspected was the girlfriend. She went up behind Adam and took his opposite arm that was holding her hand. She looped her arm around his and looked up at him adoringly. "Golly Bro, Care to introduce me?"

[Minister Ashton Lockwood]

Ashton looked curiously at the boy and wondered what he had been going through his mind. He sure seemed different when he was around Alyssa his daughter. He had to be cautious about this one. He knew the bad/nice guy types. He seemed like he had cared for his daughter though which had been excellent and he liked that about a person. He seemed pretty decent too. He had to look up his family and get a background check to see. He was rather protective of his little girl after Caleb had passed away this past summer which was heart breaking for each one of them and he had missed Caleb terribly. He still had to find the person that had to do that to his own son. Well it was his step-son anyways but, still. “Good, Mr. Reever. I’m happy to hear that.” He had said and shook his hand firmly. Adam had a nice grip and he had nodded to him. “Well enjoy yourselves this party is for you two you know.” Ashton had said to the two of them. “It’s nice to meet you Mr. Reever. Hope to see you around.” Ashton had said and spoken. Gabriel Alyssa’s mother had smiled back when Ashton had introduced her as well. The two had went back talking to the other guests that had been standing there waiting for them.

[Alyssa Lockwood]

Alyssa was really happy that her father and Adam had gotten along. That part was over now with the two meeting and her step-mother. She had been relieved. She looked up at Adam and smiled she was so happy that she had been finally with him. “Yes, I know it feels like it’s been ages hun.” She had said and wrapped her arms around him. She had smiled as the two had gotten to know a bit of each other and then Adam had turned back towards Alyssa after all of that. She slipped her hands in his. His hands had been so soft. She had noticed a blonde girl that had been walking over. Alyssa didn’t know who it was and she had put an arm around Adam’s arm. Alyssa had gotten a bit jealous as his sister had done that. She hadn’t seen Adam in forever and she had to go ruin their moment they were just having. Alyssa put on a smiled as Kristal said Bro and wanted Adam to introduce her to Alyssa.

“Hello, you must be Adam’s sister. I’m his girlfriend Alyssa Lockwood. It’s nice to finally meet you. Adam’s told me so much about you.” She had told her and stuck her hand out to shake Kristal’s she was just being polite. She didn’t want to be mean to his family since Adam had been so nice to hers. She thought Adam didn’t like Kristal either but, maybe things have changed? She was so confused. When Adam said he had smelled food. She smiled and giggled a little bit looking over towards the buffet table. “There’s tons of food help yourself. You must be hungry.” She had said and poked his stomach cutely.

[Adam Jasper Reever]

Adam nodded to her Father as he turned back to his guests with his wife. It did indeed feel like ages. A few months was like a decade or at least that was how it felt. But at the same time he had been so busy that the time had mostly flown by. The fact that school was starting back up soon was unimaginable. He wasn't sure if his head would really be into school this year with everything going on. Alyssa was the rock to his life that kept the world from spinning too fast and made everything seem easier when he was with her. He pulled her close and kissed her forehead. As he pulled back away he felt his arm being looped.

He turned to see Kristal standing beside him. A look in her eyes that he knew wasn't going to be necessarily good. He rolled his eyes as she spoke and pushed away from her, tugging his arm out of her grip. He sighed and turned to Alyssa. It was at this moment he realized why he hadn't wanted to invite her. He didn't much feel like dealing with her. She was of no help this summer but more in the way and being largely un-useful.

Alyssa introduced herself before he got the chance and he smiled slightly to himself. She turned back to him to talk about food and at this point, his appetite was half gone. She playfully poked his tummy and he smiled down at her. "Ouch" he said rubbing his tummy. He half forgot Kristal was still standing there. His little world with Alyssa was too easy to get lost in.

He turned back to Kristal and glared at her. "Yes, Kristal. This is Alyssa. Alyssa, this is... Kristal." He stared at Kristal as if to say be nice but he knew that was probably a mistake. She would find anything to toy with them just out of boredom. How he was related to her he sometimes could never understand. Then again, not too long ago, he was much more like her than he now. He was sure, somewhere, that part still lived. And that almost scared him more than anything. Holding Alyssa tightly to him, he felt the world almost move. "Well, now. Wasn't that fun...." he half said to himself more than to anyone else.

[Kristal René Reever]

Kristal smiled proud of herself as Adam pulled away from him. She let her arm fall from around his arm and took a step back, just to look more intimidating while being able to look the two of them over better. She raised an eye brow at the girl as she told her just who she was. She seemed to have some balls but she was being quite modest. With the last part, she was sure the things she heard we not all good. She shook the girls hand slightly firmly. "Well then. Nice to finally meet you, Alyssa, Adam's girlfriend. How ever have we not met yet?" She asked as more of a rhetorical question. "Heard much about me huh? I'm sure all nice things." She added with a curled smile as she glared up over at Adam.

She paced to the right as they two seemed to have a moment of their own. She stood staring as if they were taking up much of her own precious time. She tapped her foot lightly on the ground and Adam turned to stare at her once more. "Oh it was indeed Adam." She turned back to Alyssa as if Adam wasn't even standing there. "Nice place you have here."She said with a smirk. "So how love have you love birds been together? I must say, this Adam," She waved her hands as if to declare hum she was speaking of, " Isn't the same Adam I remember. You've done nicely when training the once bad boy. What's your secret?" She winked and smiled at her.
