Just some ground rules to know.
1. If you don't post in a lecture, don't worry about it. I understand that you might have problems with getting signed on and such. However, if you miss a second lecture I will PM you. If you miss a third lecture I will remove 10 House Points. No exceptions (beyond posting in the Away/Inactive threads) - if you sign up for the class, be there. Because I don't let squares in.
2. A single lecture will be open for two weeks. The lecture after that one will start the day after the end of the first. (eg. Lecture 1: July10 - July 24. Lecture 2: July 25 - August 8. So on, so forth).
I will send out a PM when I post the first lecture of the year, that way you don't get confused or anything. Any posts after the two week period will be ignored by myself, and will not prevent you from missing a lecture. I will leave a note at the top of the first post in a lecture stating that the class will run from July X - July X.
3. Assignments will be handled through PM (I don't want threads to get confusing with trying to teach a lecture and answering questions about homework). Unfortunately (or fortunately, as the case may be) I don't have an ability to really give 'homework' for the class. Instead, I will leave a question about something random in the first post, that you will have to go to Google and type in. Questions will be bolded.
Find the answer, and shoot me a PM with the answer before the beginning of the next lecture. Not doing the assignment will result in nothing. Doing the assignment will result in House Points (5-10 depending on detail of the answer).
4. When in doubt regarding content of a post, refer to Site Rules. When in doubt about something in the class, send me a PM, and I'll do my best.
5. Have fun. Also, rules are subject to change without notice.
