Sober Confessions (Matthew)

[black]Matthew swam close to Candi seeing her dunk herself into the water and submerge herself. Smiling he leaned against the wall of the pool sighing sinking into the water slowly. Seeing her reappear Matthew felt her arms around him smiling. Looking into her emerald eyes Matthew smiled. Putting his arms around her Matthew smile. [white]"Your welcome to stay as long as you want my dear. I do enjoy having someone in the bed next to me, but we don't have to do that if you don't want too."[/white] He smile kissing her nose softly. Running his fingers through her wet hair, Matthew held her close going under with her kissing her lips softly underwear briefly then coming back up for air. Blinking a bit Matthew smiled.

It was funny how much Candi and Matthew agreed with one another. They both agreed about the sex they had last night. And Matthew agreed with Candi about taking their relationship slowly. [white]"I think your right Candi. I wanna take it slow. I wanna earn your love, not have sex and already earn it."[/white] Matthew said looking into Candi's eyes getting a little lost smiling trying to keep it serious. [white]"Courting is a little weird... The term that is. I feel like I have six other wives now..."[/white] Laughing softly Matthew kissed her nose softly. Matthew still felt hurt with what Adonia had told him, and he wanted to take things slow with Candi. He didn't want another relationship to end like it did with Candi. He needed some time to mend. [white]"I do trust you Candi. I really want to that is. But that'll have to be earned like the love."[/white] Matthew smile kissing her hand softly.[/black]

[Candi Acel]

Candi smiled as Matthew held her, green eyes sparkling with happiness at the intimacy of the moment. She let out a soft giggle at the boy's words, pressing close as she answered him. "I don't see why I wouldn't want to." the girl teased with a playful smile. Suddenly she felt herself being pulled down and also into a kiss. She pressed back into the kiss as the water covered the couple, the cool water feeling good against her slightly heating cheeks. Soon the kiss was parted and they were back above the water. She giggled as she hugged the Ravenclaw close. "That was like somethin out of a romance movie."

The Slytherin girl was thrilled to hear Matthew shared her thoughts on their relationship. It made things tons easier. She laughed at his comments on her term "courting". The boy must not have had much experience with the term. "In the south courting is like dating Matthew. A gentleman caller calls on a lady, takes her out, gives her flowers. Really wins her over before she decides she would like a relationship with him." she explained with a smile, hoping he understood better. "Where did you hear about courting that brought you to the six wives conclusion?" she asked with a laugh. Matthew was very sweet and understanding, not to mention really fun on many levels. He had the potential to really become close to Candi. As she watched him kiss her hand she couldn't help the red that formed over her cheeks. It was nice to have a gentleman after so many rude boys. "You're very sweet Matthew"

[black] Hugging her tightly Matthew smiled. A side of Matthew wanted Candi to live with him, he'd think it would be awesome if it was possible. But, there again, they wanted to take it slow. Would it work then? [white]"Would it work having you live with me? I mean I kinda want you too. But, we also want to take it slow. So I dunno..."[/white] Matthew shrugged a bit biting his bottom lip. It was kind of a pickle of a situation. On one side it could work, on another it couldn't work out. But who knows! Laughing a little, Matthew grinned. [white]"We Italians made up romance, then the Americans stole the idea from us and decided to make this so called, 'romance movie'."[/white] He laughed tickling her sides a bit. It was kind of true. The Italians did invent romance. Changing his voice to sound like a very old Greek man, Matthew smile. [white]"If you take the word 'romance', and break the word. You have the word 'Roma', which is the goddess that created Rome. So you see, Roma, Rome, Romance. See. Simple as that"[/white] Starting to laugh, Matthew leaned his head against the wall looking at the beauty.

Raising his eyebrow to her explanation of 'courting', Matthew was slightly confused a little. [white]"So, in the South, females use to have 'gentlemen callers', and they'd pretty much try and win the girls love and affection? See, here in Italy, we put the lovers of the girl in a Colosseum, and they'd fight to the death for her."[/white] Matthew stated grabbing his wand waving it around, watching the water bend to his command. Forming a Colosseum, with a female at the top of it, while four little aqua men formed in the center of the Colosseum fighting one another. Letting the little water displace fall back into the water, he tossed his wand back on to the edge. "And your a very sweet girl." Matthew smile.[/black]

[Candi Acel]

Candi blinked her green eyes curiously as she listened to Matthew bring up the idea of her living with him. She found it funny that a comment she originally intended as a joke could inspire such serious thoughts about it. Her automatic reaction was to think the idea was ridiculous. They had only just slept together after all so why would they move in together? But when the blonde really took a moment to think about it it really didn't seem like that crazy of an idea. It would definatly beat her small room at Hogwarts, even if she did get the room to herself, she would have someone to sleep next to, and she was sure breakfast food made by Matthew's elves would be better than the Hogwarts morning food. Plus it would give herself a chance to really get to bond with Matthew. The only downside would be that usually when people spend more than 24 hours together they can tend to start showing their true selves to each other and most times, especially with teens, that either resulted in severe annoyance or realization that the other person isn't as attractive as you initially thought.......or sex, which wouldn't be that bad of an outcome. But despite the negative possibilities Candi thought she'd at least give living in the boy's home a trial run. "Hm....I suppose there's no harm in trying it. Ok Matty, I'll stay with you and if we can stand each other after this week is over I'll make permanent residency a serious decision." she said with a happy smile. "Sound good to you?"

Candi let out giggles and laughs as Matthew made his comments on romance and his association of it with Italy. When her laughter had finally stopped she smiled happily up at the boy and pressed close. "Well if Italians created romance, the French PERFECTED it mi amor." the girl said the last bit with a bit of her french accent. She knew french perfectly from growing up there but Matthew probably hadn't known that. In fact the only thing that might have given her ancestry away might have been her platinum blonde hair that was normally found in France. But that wasn't a common stereotype of the area. Truthfully Candi was just a big mixture of Europe due to her genes. Swedish and Greek from her father and French from her mother, plus the odd addition of the southern accent she got from her mother made her very individual. Truthfully her mother was all french and preferred her french roots. She only had the deep southern accent because Candi's adventurous Grandmother decided to raise her mother in the deep south in America. And because of that the accent never really left. And because she used the accent while raising Candi up it got spread to her as well as a bit to Candi's brother Cicero. But Cicero's accent sounds more like a lazy teen than a Southern belle like Candi's.

The Slytherin girl was a bit taken back by Matthew's description of how the Italians win over the love of a girl. It was much more aggressive than her personal preference of being wooed. "Um....while I'm sure that must be very attractive to some girls, I don't much think I would like someone to die over me." she said, though flashed Matthew a smile that showed she did appreciate the Italian way of winning love. To all their own.

[black] Matthew smiled holding her hand. Hearing her accept the idea, with changes. [white]"I'm pretty sure we don't need a week silly."[/white] Matthew teased smiling. Matthew would enjoy having Candi live with him. The house only companies himself and Buttons his house elf. Since his parents had died Matthew had lived on his own, in a manor bigger then most manors in the USA for almost three years. It was defiantly lonely. To be very blunt he hadn't actually being inside his parents room before. Everything was probably still where everything was. He remembered so much of it before his father died. When his father was still alive he'd always wonder into the room looking around. He remembered his mothers Victorian powder stand in the room, her few bottles that stood on it. When Matthew was younger he always went to the bottom draw of his mothers stand and grab a piece of chocolate. It always had made him feel better. Maybe having Candi live with him would make him feel better; whole agian.

Laughing a little bit, Matthew smile looking into the emerald eyes of his future lover. She was Southern ... And French? Raising a eye brow Matthew grinned. [white] "Are you French?"[/white] He smiled teasing her gently by biting her shoulder gently. Sitting up, Matthew slid Candi off his lap gently, sitting on the ledge of the pool his legs dangling in the water. Matthew wasn't French, he was only Italian. 100 percent Italian stock. If his father was still alive he'd probably yell, expecting Matthew to dump Candi because she wasn't Italian. Well he was dead so Matthew was able to fall in love with who ever he wanted. [white]"I speak French too ya know."[/white] He smiled bending down a bit kissing her forehead. Grabbing his wand, Matthew waved it pulling some oak branch from the near by tree's around the temple setting in at the feet of Zeus. Starting the pieces of oak on fire, Matthew said a small prayer in Greek, giving a burning offering to the god of gods.

Looking back at the girl Matthew smiled. "How about we get all dried up and go on a date? Maybe somewhere in America, where you grew up or where your family is." Matthew smiled giving her the offer.[/black]

[Candi Acel]

Candi was very happy Matthew agreed with her living arrangements. She thought living with the Italian boy would be very nice. She was getting pretty tired of going to bed all by herself. Now she would have her own lil' Matthew to cuddle with, among other things. She let out an amused laugh at the boy's confusion at the information that Candi was French. She definatly called it. "Yes, from my Mother's family and Greek and Swedish from my father." she said with a smile. She was quite the melting pot of cultures. But she would attempt to explain her misplaced accent. "Mother is 100% French but her adventurous mother thought it would be a thrill to live in the Americas, specifically the deep south of Louisiana. So even though Mother has French blood she grew up with a Southern, almost cajun accent which she still has to this day. Me and my brother and me were raised with her speaking that accent to us so we picked it up. Mine is close but not as thick as her's and Cicero has only a hint of the accent. Confusing huh? But I've never even been to America, much less the deep South. Read bout it though." the Slytherin explained, hoping Matthew understood.

Candi blinked surprised green eyes up at Matthew when he suggested they get ready for their date. The suddenness of the action took Candi by surprised a bit. "So soon? Um.....well..." But after a moment of thinking Candi decided, what the hell and decided to go with it. "Sure! Take me wherever you with Matthew. I wouldn't expect a normal, simple date from you."
