It’s very reliable and it’s been doing wonders in my Defense Against the Dark Arts class."

"Ah, so you want a peak behind the curtain. Well, the things that freak me out are needles…or any kind of insect that happens to have a stinger. That’s just a big no, in my column. I’m also afraid of my friends and family being hurt or killed. The whole idea makes me nervous. I’m also afraid of failing in school. Not because I’m a book-nerd, by any means. I just don’t want to disappoint my family. In terms of hates, I really don’t like people who are obsessed with blood purity. From what I’ve heard, most ‘purebloods’ are at severe health risks and whatnot. I don’t get the appeal, but whatever. I also don’t like people who are completely fake and pretend to be whatever just to fit in. It’s ridiculous. Uhm…things I like, things I like…Well, I happen to really like animals. I find them very interesting, and pets are a lot of fun. At times, I can be somewhat arrogant, but I try to tone it down as much as possible. I’m outgoing and friendly and, I have to admit, I’m a bit of a flirt."

"Uhm…let’s see…what is there that I can talk about…Well, I have occasionally had a butterbeer, even though I’m underage. I’m also trying to convince my parents to buy a Crup. They’re just like a dog but with a somewhat different demeanor. They say they won’t because they are mean to muggles and we have some muggle friends. Still, it would be interesting."
SO, WHAT ABOUT FAMILY? WHERE DO YOU COME FROM? WHAT IS YOUR HISTORY AND DO YOU HAVE BROTHERS, SISTERS, AUNTS AND UNCLES?

"Oh yes, my family. Well, I have a little sister who is eight. Her name is Katrina. She is a bit quiet most of the time. Then I have my mom and dad. My mom’s name is Aimee and my father’s name is Benjamin. I have one grandmother and grandfather, each on one side of the family. My grandfather’s name is Bertram Corvus. He’s pretty cool. He was an auror back in the day, as well as a former Ravenclaw. He is often quiet in the company of strangers, but is fairly kind to us in private. My grandmother is Pandora Pythios. We…well, we don’t get to see her very often. She’s often working on something or other. Often times, she sends us gifts; Dad says that she does that as a way to apologize for not seeing them very often. I can’t say I fully believe him, of course. I actually wonder if she even likes us.
Well, anyhow, you want to know more about my past. Well, as I said, I was born in April in my parents’ home. I was homeschooled up until my years at Hogwarts; after all, my parents’ magical lineage was impossible to hide with my grandparents around. I did get to play with the other children in my neighborhood, though. I just had to keep quiet about magic and stuff. I made a lot of friends during those first ten years. When I was seven, my sister was born. At first I was jealous of the attention she was getting…but you know, I got over it. Then came the day I got the letter from Hogwarts. We went through the motions, going to Diagon Alley and getting my school supplies. It was cool and all, but it’s not really worth going in to. Although, I did get a pretty cool-looking owl. I was really happy about that. I named him Kimon, meaning sleepy in Greek.
I digress. Anyway, I was enrolled in Hogwarts, got sorted, and went straight to my classes. I was really good at Defense Against the Dark Arts which made me and my grandfather very happy. I did really poorly in Flying class, though. That was incredibly embarrassing. Eventually, I became a passable flier, but that was towards the end of the year. Ever since, I’ve avoided broomsticks. They just make me disheartened. I’m also not that great at Transfiguration. I try, I really do, but I just can’t seem to focus hard enough. Now, fast forward a bit and we have the present time. I am curious to see how the TriWizard Tournament goes this year. I’m also anxious to try out the Dueling Class. I’m a bit nervous about Care of Magical Creatures and Potions class, though. My grandparents are working those classes this year. My grandfather, I know, won’t be too hard on me, but my grandmother may be a different story."
