To be a teacher one must be vigilant and knowledgeable in not only the subject being taught but also in the art of observation to keep an eye on the class and their abilities as a whole. Legilimency was something special, the ability to enter minds was one envied by wizards and envied most by the many who would find the ability far beyond their reach. In fact, it was doubtful every student could keep up with Henri’s plans for a fast and hard lesson in the arts of the mind.
Shuffling some papers around his desk, the new Hogwarts professor looked to the classroom that was empty for the moment and would soon be filled with students talking and moving and joking. Smiles, whispers, studious individuals distracted by those who took the class in hopes of being ignored due to their lack of drive in the subject. A drawer was opened and a single bottle was removed roughly the size of a bottle of ale. Strange enough to those who did not know the Hatian the bottle’s contents were far from alcoholic and much more a catalyst for the class subject at hand.
Wand being plucked from his desktop, a simple wave had the door opened and the board behind Henri clearly and elegantly spelled out his name in large cursive letters. The writing did not stop there however, going so far as to spell out further the proper pronunciation. The board read:
Professor Bijous
Bee-Jues
Introduction to Legilimency
Satisfied with his work, he leans back in his chair and waits for the classroom to be filled with students. Soon the desks would be full, and soon Henri would be teaching them the ins and outs of the mind as well as the art of illusions being placed deep within a person’s consciousness. Clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth, the bald man waited.
