"My personality eh? Well, as I’ve said, I am a lover not a fighter and would much razer settle zings wizout violence if at all possible. I am most certainly a pacifist; I would razer be harmed myself zan to harm ozers or see ozers being harmed. Perhaps to go along wiz my pacifism, I am also a vegetarian. I do not like ze zought of some poor creature being killed for my sake. I have not had a bite of meat since I learned where exactly meat comes from at a razer young age, six or seven I zink.

I do enjoy a good, friendly competition, however. It seems I have a competitive streak in me. From debate to quidditch, I find it hard to back down from a challenge so long as no one is hurt in ze process. It is somezing of a weakness of mine, zough I am at least a good sport on zose occasions when I lose my challenges. I do not see ze point in becoming upset over such zings, but instead take zem as opportunities to learn and improve.

I am very curious in nature, I enjoy learning. If I come across somezing I do not know, do not understand, zen I take it upon myself to find out whatever I can about it. Not knowing somezing is just anozer sort of challenge, after all. I am ever eager to try new zings and am quite willing to try almost anyzing once. My muzer insists I am stubborn, but I prefer ze term persistent. I do not give up easily and am quite ze optimist as well. I have noticed it makes for an annoying combination to some.

My most favorite zings to do include ah… socializing, reading, and playing quidditch, more specifically ze keeper position. I also enjoy ze muggle sport, football, and I play ze goalie of course, a much easier version of ze keeper. When it comes to reading, I love all sorts of books, fiction and non, and always read for at least an hour before going to sleep, no matter how late it is or how tired I am. As to socializing, well, I do love a good party, a dance, or somezing more personal. I did say I was a lover, no?

I have an interest in being a healer after I graduate, or if biggest dream of playing on a national quidditch team is to come true, perhaps after zat. I just want to be able to help people. My muzer is a healer and has shared her own knowledge wiz me. It is somezing I am sure I would like to do. I also have hopes of perhaps one day returning to Hogwarts as a professor, but I am content to wait longer for zat, after I have actually had a chance to experience ze world so zat I may come back and share zat experience."

"Ah, well, not zat it is an uncommon zing, but I am quite passionate about quidditch. I have been Ravenclaw’s quidditch captain since my fifz year and have played on ze team since my zird. I found when I was younger, back in France, playing football wiz some muggle children in my neighborhood, zat I made more zan a fair goalie. It seems zis skill transferred well to quidditch. In my zird year I played chaser, however after our previous keeper graduated zat year, I returned as keeper for my fourz year and have done very well for my team if I do say so myself. I am hoping zat my skills will prove good enough to get me a spot on a national quidditch team."

"Well, zere is my muzer, Ariana. She is a witch and originally comes from England, however I have been told zat on a trip to France she met my fazer and it was love at first sight. My fazer, Christophe, is a muggle, which caused my muzer’s family some concern, and so ze two eloped in France and my muzer did not return to her home where her parents shunned her, not at first, anyway. I was born and raised in France, along wiz my younger twin sisters, until my tenz birzday. After I began to show signs of magical ability, my muzer was set on my attending Hogwarts, as she did, and insisted upon moving us to England to be closer to ze school. I had not even gotten my letter yet, zough I did not know at ze time zat not getting one was even a possibility and zat she was being razer hasty, but move we did. My fazer said zat she moved to his country for him so he would do ze same for her.

My sisters, five years younger zan I, zought it all very exciting, especially Melisande as she was showing magical promise as well and hoped to go to zis magical school in its great castle herself one day. Poor Rosabel, it seemed, took after our fazer, however, and has never shown magical ability. After our move, muzer would not allow us to speak French around her, trying to get us to learn ze English language better for we knew but little before ze move. My sisters took to it quickly enough, young as zey were. As you can see, I am still ah… stuck on zat T H, but, I’ve learned it quite well enough myself. My sisters do not even have an accent to speak of, however. It has gotten me made fun of, on occasion, not zat it bozers me much, but I am happy my sisters were spared it at least. Zere are perks to an accent as well, many girls seem to enjoy mine.

But I digress…. I obviously did indeed receive my Hogwarts letter and was sorted into Ravenclaw in my first year. My muzer had apparently been a Hufflepuff, but she was as happy as if I had been sorted into her own house. I did my best to focus on my studies and have always gotten high marks, in most subjects, and have even tutored ozers on occasion. My sister Melisande received her own letter when I was going into my sixz year and was sorted into Gryffindor. Rosabel… well… she has become razer… distant to us, feeling left out, I can’t blame her. At least she and fazer are razer close so she has someone to talk to about it all."
