To be entirely truthful, the rattling of the train bothered Henri something fierce as it bounced along the tracks down the way towards King’s Cross Station. As a first year professor it apparently was customary for him to supervise the students on the train towards school which required him to take the train both too the station, mostly empty except for the Conductor and Trolley Staff, and then ride it back again full of children ready to learn and enjoy the school year ahead. Luckily for Henri only a fraction of them would ever see the inside of his classroom since Occlumency and Legilimency were not only lacking in popularity but closed off to all students below sixth year.
Professor Bijous. The title seemed almost too good to believe, especially since it meant that his abilities and knowledge surpassed others who desired the same position he applied for. This would be the year that made or broke the man from Louisiana, the year that would determine whether or not he would be asked to stay the following year. His class plans were already laid out and students had already sent in Owls requesting to be put in the class so all that remained was the actual teaching.
A deep breath let out a deep sigh and his eyes drifted closed as the Express rocketed forward towards the station. Hopefully the year ahead would go well, hopefully the semester ahead went well. In fact, Henri was so desperate for good that he hoped the next twelve hours went well so that he could enjoy his ride back to Hogwarts in peace. The car left a warm glass of butterbeer waiting on his tray to help his nerves when they arrived at the famous King’s Cross.
