Opening the window to her Common Room, Adonia noticed that the weather has changed slightly. For being windy, it had seemed just a little chilly. Rubbing her arms together, she went to her trunk and pulled out her Ravenclaw hoodie. Seriously, Adonia thinks she is the only girl that wears her Ravenclaw stuff around when classes weren’t in session. Other kids seem to wear whatever they wanted to. Not Adonia. She liked to support her House in anyway she can.

Throwing it on, Adonia thought she would go outside and have a small walk. It was her free period and she had already finished most of her homework. There was still the book that she needed to read for Professor Ziler, but there was only fifty more pages which she could read in thirty minutes. The average kid can read about fifty pages in an hour to an hour and fifteen. That tells you Adonia is a fast reader for sure.

Stepping outside, the wind was just as cold as it was when she opened her window. Giving a little shake, due to the cold, she decided that she wanted to walk down by where the Whomping Willow is. Walking, she had seen a flower on the ground. Looking at it, Adonia stopped and bent over… it was Belladonna! That stuff is great use for healing potions and sometimes it doesn’t really grow around here. That made Adonia excited. Right away, she picked it, placing it in her hair behind her ear for safe keeping.

"Lousy Scotland. Why's it gotta be so cold? Stupid walk from Herbology all the way back to the castle."

Athan wrapped his arms around himself, rubbing his forearms to try and warm himself up. He had been freezing all day. He had somehow managed to leave his winter cloak at home, and his mother hadn't sent it to him yet. So Athan was stuck freezing until it her owl arrived.

Glancing around the lawns as he walked quickly towards the castle, he barely saw the all too familiar form of the Ravenclaw girl that had been his best friend since before he could remember. She was bending over looking at something, and was nearly hidden over the curve of the hill that was between her and Athan. Smiling to himself, the Hufflepuff suddenly forgot how cold he was, changing his direction towards Adonia. When he got close, he couldn't stop the smile the broke onto his face as he sped up so that he could get right behind her before she turned around. Reaching around her and placing his gloved hands over her eyes, he laughed slightly before saying, "Leave it to you to be looking at potion ingredients when it's a hundred below freezing outside."

Removing his hands from her eyes, Athan grabbed her around the waist from behind and kissed her on the back of the head before walking around and sitting next to her. "How're you, beautiful?" he asked, still having somehow forgotten how cold it was out here.

Adonia could smell the Belladonna. It was so sweet. She just wanted to pluck it from her ear, sit down. Just taking in the aroma that made her light headed and weak in the knees… isn’t it kind of like a drug? She laughed at her thought and was about to turn around when her vision was taken away from a gloved figure. Right away, she jumped in the air, but then heard a voice. She knew that voice from anywhere. Athan Demos. Her… boyfriend? Yeah… she guesses she can call him that now.

Laughing slightly as she seen him sit down next to her and felt the kiss behind her head, she turned to him. [black]”Matter of fact, smarty pants, I wasn’t looking for potion ingredients. I decided to come for a walk and stumbled across this beauty.”[/black] Patting her flower lightly with a smile on her face. Adonia took the flower from her head and put it in Athan’s ear. [black]”You look gorgeous, darling!”[/black] She said in her best English accent. It wasn’t that good since her accent was German, but it was still funny.

Looking at Athan, looks like he came out of the Herbology class. Smiling, Adonia wondered how that class went for him. This silly Hufflepuff had like no luck with ANYTHING. And she wasn’t kidding. Flying? Nope. Potions? Nope. Charms? Yes. That was one good thing he could do. And also charming Adonia, that was another thing. He was just so charming. Maybe its because they knew each other their whole life, she thinks he’s charming. Adonia mentally laughed to her own thought. [black]”How did Herbology go? Pass out today?”[/black] Adonia giggled a little remembering when they were in their fourth year. Someone forgot to put on their earmuffs the right way and Athan passed out. Right to the ground. Face first. Sure, Adonia and the other kids laughed, but then she stayed next to him till he woke up.

Athan listened to Adonia's explanation of why she was out here, and laughed slightly. "Well, either way, only you would stop to look at potion ingredients." He smiled at her to let her know he wasn't trying to be hostile, but quickly changed to a look of fake annoyance as she put the stem behind his ear.

”You look gorgeous, darling!”

Athan laughed and put on his best "rich person" face as he followed suit. "Why thank you dear, and might I say, you look rather smashing today yourself!" Athan and Adonia were both German. They had grown up together, neighbors and best friends. Somehow Athan, who was muggleborn, had gone the first several years without finding out magic existed, even while spending so much time in the Theodosia's house. They had done this same sort of thing when they were kids, too. Putting on fake British accents and talking like the stereotypical Englishman.

When her question came about his Herbology lesson, Athan smiled a little smugly. "He did some work with Snarglauffs today. You know, those stumps that try to kill you if you get too close? Well I managed to get two pods from one and all I got was this." Athan pulled his cloak sleeve back and rolled up the sleeve of his sweater to reveal a rather long, but shallow cut. It wasn't much for having battled a demonic plant for a whole class period. Of course, there were other, much smaller cuts and scratches along his arms and even a few on his face, but this was the least damaged he had ever been after a duel with one of those. "Adonia, your little boy is growing up. He can hold his own against a measly plant now." He laughed at his joke, knowing that he put himself down, but not caring at all. It was still funny.

Adonia laughed at Athan’s fake Englishman accent. It was a lot better than Adonia’s that was for sure. [black]”Thank you, darling.”[/black] Adonia curtsied and pecked Athan’s cheek. He was too darn cute and she laughed.

Adonia didn’t bother taking the flower out of his hair, maybe later she would take it… or she could have Athan keep it… nah, she needed it for a potion that Professor Ziler assigned to her. There was so much work that she needed to do and Adonia was starting to think if she would ever get it all done. But he did assign a few potions. Maybe she could do the potions on her free time and then on the weekend do the other class work. It was though kind of nice that Adonia didn’t have to take an actual potions class this year, it’s a more advanced class. Professor Ziler seemed really interested in Adonia’s talent for him to accept her idea.

Hearing that he was attacked by the plants in Professor Menki’s … well now Skeron… Herbology class, Adonia shook her head with a small smile. [black]”That was a pretty hard one for sure. I would have gotten it all dead if I wouldn’t have slipped when getting closer and the pod shot some out at me too.”[/black] Adonia pointed to her face a tiny scratch that was healing. That is one thing Professor Skeron could improve on is her healing. She seemed a little hesitant when performing the spell. That girl could be awesome if she had a lot more confidence.

Adonia laughed, but then she started to fake sniffle. [black]”Aww! You just grow up too fast!”[/black] She pretended to cry and hugged Athan burring her face into his cloak, then she started to laugh. [black]”But its great to hear that you did good. Well, it seemed it. See, your getting better.”[/black] She said with another hug to him. Athan was growing up, but in a magical spells way.

When Adonia showed Athan the scratch on her cheek, Athan leaned over and kissed it lightly. "There ya go!" he said, smiling at the Ravenclaw. "All better, now!" He laughed slightly and leaned back, looking up at the graying sky. It looked as if it could snow sometime soon. That would be fun, if only Athan's winter cloak would arrive soon. If it didn't, he may just have to steal one from his roommates. Of course, he still had his hoodie and leather jacket up in his dorm, but he couldn't wear those to classes, and alot of the rooms in the stone castle were on the cold side now that fall and winter were approaching.

"”But its great to hear that you did good. Well, it seemed it. See, your getting better.”

"What would you do if I didn't need your help?" Athan asked, laughing slightly. "You use half your free time tutoring me, it seems. I'm not complaining, no. Quite the opposite, actually. But still. What would you do with all that free time?" Of course, Athan knew what he would like to do if he had more time to do what he wanted and less time that was strictly studying and being tutored. This was the last year he was promised to get to see his best friend (and who, he reminded himself with a smile, was now also his girlfriend). He wanted to take advantage of the time he got to see Adonia.

Laughing as she lightly pushed Athan when he kissed her cheek, Adonia knew that he was being silly, but she didn’t care. That was one thing that she loved about Athan, his silliness. [black]”Oh thank goodness that’s all better.”[/black] She said with a smile to him after her fits of laughter was over.

What would Adonia do with the free time? Sure, there would be lots to be done. There was the advanced private lessons for her potions class, then there would be also another private class she would be taking, but that was more on a non-class requirement. [black]”Hmm… my free time? I guess I could study more.”[/black] But there was a hint of her joking as she chuckled once and then shook her head, [black]”I do a lot of that as it is, but… there is two private classes I am taking. One in potions, but the other one, its really not a class, its something that I chose to do. Its to practice my wandless magic more. Its good now, but Tony, the Game Keeper, he is going to be helping me more. He says I have potential.”[/black] She said with a small smile with a sigh. Just more to add to her plate. [black]”So, that’s what I would be doing.”[/black] She said with a smile, [black]”Or I could just come and find you and bug you all the time.”[/black] Giving him a goofy smile as she put her head onto his shoulder as she leaned into him. There was so much to do this term of school which is their last one… finally.

[black]”OH! That reminds me!”[/black] Snapping her head back up as she looked at her boyfriend in the eyes, [black]”I got offered to come back to this school to become an intern for the Potions class. Professor Ziler offered it to me.”[/black] Adonia was so happy when she found out. Now she wouldn’t have to go into the Ministry like her mother wanted her to do in the first place.
