Charm? He had it. Wit? He had it. The looks? He had it. But potions? That was one thing Logan did NOT have. The young Wizard was recognized as a prodigy, he was a Dueling champion at 14, he was athletic, he had many gifts, yet he couldn't conjure a single potion to save the life of him. It was because of this that he asked one of his friends, Adonia Theodosia, to help him.
Logan had talked to her after a class last week, and asked for her help. She, being his friend, agreed, and now he made his way to the Potions lab to meet her. Logan was in casual, a nice blue collar shirt and a nice pair of jeans. His plan was to practice some of those potions and then perhaps having a good time at night. He arrived at the Lab and walked into the room, noticing that Adonia had not arrived yet. He placed his bag on the table and pulled out the potions book, unsure of what he should be doing. He then took a seat and waited for Adonia to show up.
While he waited he thought to himself that perhaps he should practice some brewing. He pulled out a cauldron and looked at is book. "Polyjuice. Shouldn't be that hard." He said, not at all knowing that the book he was looking at was from the restricted section of the library. Really, who leaves a book like that in the Potions lab?
He began preparing the mixture and then read the ingredients. "Lacewing Flies." He said aloud and walked over to the cabinets. He pulled out a jar and then walked back. "Stewed for 21 days... Ahh what ever, it'll be fine." He stated surely, and then put the flies in the cauldron. He looked at the list for the next ingredients and read it out loud. "Leeches, Bicorn Horn, Knot grass, Fluxweed." He looked around the room for the ingredients, not worrying of whether they were prepared for the brew in the least bit. For Logan, Fluxweed was Fluxweed regardless of when it was picked.
Logan finished up the brew and grinned. He began to mix it and felt a bit confident that the brew was lookin good, then he found himself in a quarrel. "Wait... I need someone who I want to turn to???" One of the problems Logan had with Potion was that he didn't read them straight through. He just went straight for the ingredients. Logan was angry now. "God damn Potions, with stupid mischievous purposes. Why don't they just let us, Metamorphmagus, do all these morphing stuff."
He looked at the cauldron and and pointed his wand at it. He thought about and decided not to blast the cauldron away. He walked to it to throw it away. He poured it out and the mixture started to smoke up, Logan's eyes widened and he looked around, Adonia wasn't here yet. He walked quickly with his bag to the door and then stepped outside closing the door behind him, taking a deep breath unsure of what to do.
