It was like something out of the worst nightmare Shaylyn had ever had. Having just come back from visiting family in Brazil, this was not what she expected for her first night back. Trudging up towards the Ravenclaw carrying only a crumpled up piece of paper, she stopped in the deserted common room for a few minutes of piece and quiet. Picking her favorite chair by a window, she stared at the moon which was getting closer to full each day. Tears slowly fell down her cheeks in a steady stream as they had been since it happened. Sighing, she unfolded the letter for the hundredth time even though she had already read it so many times she knew it by heart.

Before I lost my memory, I promised her we'd get married. I fell in love with you because I forgot about her...I'm so sorry. I hope we can still be friends.

Shay crumpled up the letter again, tears streaming freely from her eyes as she brought her knees to her chest so she could rest her head on them. She had never in a million years wanted to break up with Tony....but it had to be done; he wasn't hers anymore anyway....not fully. Her thoughts were driving her crazy. She had been alone with her thoughts for far too long and they were starting to turn on her. Everything from coming up with reasons why it was her fault he found someone else to hating him for leaving her. She was so conflicted. She knew it wasn't her fault and she knew she didnt hate him...but her mind was starting to play tricks on her. She needed someone to talk to, to help her sort out her thoughts. And she knew just who she wanted but she didn't know where he would be at this hour. Adonis was a hard person to keep track of but since he was Head of Ravenclaw house, there was a chance he could be around.

Wiping the tears away, she stood up, making her way towards the HOH's room, desperately hoping he was there. She needed her best friend at a time like this. Knocking on the door she waited and hoped, for him to answer.

Adonis looked outside to grounds outside of the window wondering if the storm he smelled was coming...he could smell rain. It was sweet smelling like flowers and had the spice of decaying leaves. It smelled amazing to him. He looked towards the grey clouds in the black sky in front of him. He needed to get home soon...he needed to see Alexander and Cayden before this weekend when she came. They'd need to stay at Hogwart's this weekend so that they didn't cause any doubts about him or what he was doing. He wanted her to like him....

A knock at the door startled him. He normally would of notice someone approaching before they had the chance to knock on the door...but she was in his head distracting him...He went to the door with a big grin on his face. He opened the door and his face instantly fell. His heart started racing in anxiety and fear... Her cheeks still showed the tears she tried to wipe away. He put his arms around her and pressed her against him...Something had happened that seemed to be breaking her apart....she was like his baby sister now and his heart instantly sank as he pressed her into his chest and ran his hand on her back, "Tell me how to make you smile?"

Shaylyn was so happy that Adonis was actually where she hoped he would be...even if her face didnt show her happiness. As he took her in his arms she snuggled her face into his chest and tried to keep herself from crying again. It was so comforting to have him hold her like that. He was like her big brother and she loved him dearly, which was exactly why she needed him at this moment. [pink]I dont think even you can make me smile right now Adonis....my heart is broken in a million pieces...[/pink] Tears were brimming in her eyes but she tried hard to hold them back, taking deep breath and looking up at the ceiling to keep them from falling. It worked for the time being, but it probably wouldnt work for long.

She took another deep breath to calm herself down again before continuing with what she needed comfort for. [pink]Tony....found someone else...[/pink] Saying it out loud for the first time was too much for her. She broke down crying again like she had when it first happened. She hugged Adonis tightly, closing her eyes and trying to calm down again. She couldn't stop crying but she could at least be understandable when she talked. [pink]I dont even know what to do anymore...we were going...to...get married...i gave him...everything. [/pink] She hadn't yet told Adonis that she had lost her virginity to Tony as she didn't think it mattered but also because she didn't know what he would think of her. She was like his baby sister and no brother wants to hear about...that.
