It was a warm and sunny day at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry....the birds were flying, sun was shinning and the students were going about their daily business. Some of the on their free period, hanging out on the grass field or around the castle, talking with their friends or using this time to study if they needed it. Other who had class at the moment were attending their lessons, writing down notes, and doing the assignments at hand....yes it was a normal day....above ground that is.....
Through the corridors and arounds the corners of the halls...through the doors and down the stairs were the dungeons...yes, the dungeons: Creepy, dark, dusty....not the kind of place you'd want to be most of the time. But it is where the kitchens and the Potions class were located, so even though it's location is less then....desirable, students had no choice but to traverse this dark area of the castle. And after class, the students were quick to exit said area....except one....
There was one student who enjoyed the darkness, the dankness and the creepiness of the area....it was his favorite place to conduct "business"....and to relax himself....
Past the Potions room, past Snape's Quarters, and the other occupied rooms, in the deepest parts of the dungeons....there was one chamber in particular that was occupied by one student....
This student was Letum Renatus....although many of the students who know of him refer to him as "Grim Tim". He was tall, dark, scary and oh so creepy....just the way he liked it...it was so much fun to see the look on peoples faces when they're scared....oh so more fun to see their reactions of him afterwards. But he couldn't scare them too much....how else would he keep business? You see, aside from being creepy, Letum was VERY intelligent. He never had to worry about his own grades...but for the students who were lacking in that department, he was willing to give his knowledge and help with homework.....for a price of course...
But Letum had no need for money, he already had plenty back at home...and if he needed more, his father was more than willing to send it to him...
No there was only ONE payment that Letum would accept....sugar....
As such, at the moment, Letum was making his way back to his private dungeon chamber, a half eaten chocolate bar in his hand. He was wearing his usual Ravenclaw school robes, the sleeves slightly overlapping his fingers and the hood pulled firmly over his head. Along with his long black hair over his eyes, they caste a shadow over half his face, only showing his nose the creepy smile that would sometime appear on his face. He came up to a certain door in the back of the dungeons. Reaching into his sleeve, he pulled out a black sign that said "Welcome" in white letters with a skull and cross bones next to it....
He put it on the door before entering his little "Office". Inside was a black cat sitting on a dusty book shelf, looking down at him. There were stacks of books, a small table with tea and cookies and finally, in a dark corner, a black cauldron over a small fire pit and a bookshelf full of potions ingredients. Looking at everything, nothing seemed out of place....just perfect....finishing his chocolate, he moved to his small table, starting to make some tea to sip while he did his Muggle studies homework...
