As Alley walked through the charms corridor she hummed ‘Happy Together’ quietly to herself. She didn’t know why it was stuck in her head, but there it was. She reached the end of the corridor and automatically went to turn right without looking when she walked right into someone. Or someone. Alley looked up and couldn’t help but smile.
“Oh hiya James. We really need to stop meeting like this you know. One of us could get seriously hurt, and it defiantly won’t be me!” Alley said in her still-quiet-strong American accent. She then leant up and kissed him softly on the lips. Their lips parted and she looked into his deep eyes. “Seeya around” she whispered, then walked around James and continued on her route to the Hufflepuff common room.

“Me and you, and you and me, No matter how they toss the dice it has to be, The only one for me is you and you for me, So happy together” Alley sang as she went down the stairs. As always she skipped the last step, yet she doesn’t know where that started. Across the entrance hall she walked and down the steps leading to the kitchens. She reached the entrance to the common room and tapped the correct barrel in the correct way, then entered. Alley walked over to one of the arm chairs and sank into it letting out a sign. After double potions a girl really does need to relax! But alas, home work must be done.

Alley opened her bag and pulled out her books. ‘Potions due in next week, transfiguration due in Friday and care of magical creatures due in Wednesday.’ She muttered to herself. ‘Cool, looks like I’ve got some time!’ She put her books away and just continued sitting there, wondering on what to do now.
